  1. They also fit under the 16" Forrester XT wheels.
  2. Check again. The 05+ Mustang has a complete suspension redesign under it.
  3. All I can say is thats a ton of guages... Almost looks like a cockpit... I like it, lol.
  4. If they have put it on there, short of a major wiring and sensor installing event it's useless. I said that in one of previous two or three posts about that being the only way it'd have one. I've unhooked the airbags in a few of the other cars I've owned. Not because I don't like them, they are a good safety device. But I personally know someone who suffered greatly from one busting after it was deployed in a wreck. The guy is a few years older than me and had perfectly healthy lungs before the crash, after the airbag busted he has severe asthma. The doctors said it was from the chemicals in his airbag. Now if it will do that to a healthy lunged person imagine what it would do to my asthma suffering wife...
  5. Hi. My name is Shannon Honaker. And I too will put testimony to the reliabilty of the ej22 as being one fine peice of aluminum. I will also say that I might be able to find you an ej22 with the egr system in southwestern Va if yo don't have any luck up there...
  6. Well, you've got the flywheel already, just redrill it while its apart for the swap, have an xt6 clutch set on hand, and have your flywheel machined to xt6 spec and you'll be set.
  7. Numchux said that one of his buddies had put on a set of shocks made for a Wrangler with as 2 inch lift IIRC. Might want to pm him and see if I'm telling you right...
  8. Hah, I got nipper. LOL. No carrier bearing on these. Straight up one peice driveshaft
  9. Did the mechanic inspect the u joints. They could be getting slightly worn. Have you noticed any change in the height of the brat. When my 86 dropped down in the rear from rust it started making a weird vibration and noise similar to this from the change in the angle on the driveshaft
  10. Yep, pull the lower dash panel and look for the box with the yellow plugs going into it.s
  11. The Impreza motor is the same motor as the legacy. As long as you find a manual impreza to pull it from it will be a direct swap. You can use the auto motor, but you'll have to do as gary said and plug the egr hole. The older motor from 90-94 will also swap straight in, but you'll have to use your obd2 sensors. Storm is working with cometic to have them start making gaskets specificly for the frankenmotor ej25/ej22 combo you're talking about. A set of ej22 headgaskets are on the way to his house as we speak in an effort to make the gasket happen.
  12. Well considering the loyale is the same car just a different name for it... No. NO ea82 bodied car EVER came with an air bag. The only way ea82 body car will ever have an airbag in the steering wheel is if somebody bolted on a 92+ Legacy steering wheel.
  13. I would have said... wow, looks amazingly stupid, ya that guy need to be shot on sight.
  14. Thats awesome... What was the sway bar made for?
  15. I'm shocked with how sheap you can get nos stuff over there... Thats awesome. Seems like you've put some time into that carriage of yours:headbang:
  16. What in GOD's name are the designers at Subaru thinking.... This is the absolute worst ************ to come off their line... EVER!!!! I will never, ever, neverever buy one of these mostrosities...
  17. Its the rear most section of the trans. I don't think you'd have to drop the trans, but the exhaust and driveshaft for sure. You should have enought clearance to get around to everything in the tunnel.
  18. I haven't heard of that being tried yet. You must be the one to give it a shot, lol...
  19. Yes, thanks for catching that... I was on the phone when typing that, I'm suprised it made as much sense as it did...
  20. Some people seem to have trouble with the non-syncronized reverses in these cars as well... Have you tried putting it into first and then going into reverse. Let out the clutch, then push it back in and then try reverse.
