  1. Did the lug nut cut them easily??? never heard of doing it that way
  2. You're torque wrench could be drasticly off. I had one that when set at 51 lb. ft. it was actually throwing over 100 at the bolts. How old is yours?
  3. I'd rather go 5 lug for my endevor. but if that was out of the question I'd 6 just for the better wheel and tire selection
  4. I've had my hand stuck to one before. Cleared windshield, wet hand+frosted knob= Shannon Stuck....
  5. That box is held up by the 2 10mm bolts through the bedside isn't it. I Remember seeing it now that I think back to undercoating the insides in my brat
  6. I see both sides of the arguements here with valid points. But there is really no reason to try to desuade somebody from doing what they know and love when it comes to a build. I'm better with computers and handheld tuning devices than I am with carb jets and the internal workings of a distributor. While this isn't a build for the ultimate street monster, thats not the point, if it was then I could see the point in disputing the carb and dizzy on an ej motor. Just my .02 though.
  7. yeah. I'ev got a few beige interior things laying around as well.
  8. lookin good, well better, there. Pull the guage cluster and see if it has an individual light for the srs, if it does just pull the light. I've seen some that socket a bulb and some that have a totally seperate from dash cluster plug.
  9. The 2wd's have the same setup IIRC. Just made 2mm smaller around. I put them together about a month ago and didn't really pay to close of attention. I just knew they worked from reading up on here. Also it is about an 95% chance they have to be oem 2wd axles. ALL the parts stores here list the exact same axle for both 2wd and 4wd. On the 2wd hatch I picked up for parts I got really lucky with the one replacement axle that was actually the correct size. The other was rebooted oem. But it fit like a glove.
  10. Yeah. The upper of the two lower strut mounts is cam bolt for camber mods.
  11. Sounds very similar to the adjustments on the back of the legacy's and impreza's stuff.
  12. I don't see why the wouldn't last. All you are doing is swapping cups, not the whole joint. As long as you get the retaining ring back in place there shouldn't be any problems as long as the axle is in good shape to begin with.
  13. You may see a vid or two from me at a drag strip if I ever get done... Only thing with those wires is that i'll be trying to constantly flash the ecs light at you, if thats what you have the cel wired to, or wired at all.
  14. Sounds good and strong. I can't wait to see some vids of it in action
  15. So I see you were more forthcoming with your information 9 months ago. LOL
  16. I'm not an expert on the ea82 cars. But you should just need the strut and sprin assy's off a non air ride 2wd or 4wd, which ever yours is
  17. What is that dissy off of? Looks like you've got it mounted to where the oil feed on the ej22t heads would plumb in.
  18. I successfully mated ej22 doj cups to 2wd ea81 alxes for my swap. 4wd's won't work. I was going to try the ea82t doj's but didn't want to pay for the axles
