  1. They aren't too bad to install. Just gotta get the wires right, as long as its got instructions its simple.
  2. From your description of the air cleaner, you definately do have the carb'd ea82. And welcome to the site, and I must say that I admire your dedication and love for your car. Does he have a name?
  3. I present to you a diagram so great that it can only be described as junk... Not to scale, layout definately not correct for our motors, but it took me a minute to do...
  4. Its the evap canister. They moved them back there in 95 with the model change.
  5. I just want to say, 17x8's wasn't the best choice...
  6. He's clear across the state of NC. Probably about 4.5 hours from Mt. Airy IIRC.
  7. I ran 205/40/17's on my various integras and never bent a rim, If you drive careless and don't watch for potholes then yeah you'll bend one. Search for posts and pictures by rguyver. He has 17's on his brat with a 5 lug swap, running 225 somethings and no trouble...
  8. They haven't got all the bugs worked out with the new/old site just yet. New user activation is one of them... For now people like us just need to post on the temp site.
  9. Turbo pistons for an ej18 are not an out of another car option. They've got a bore smaller than any other ej turbo motor. Custom pistons or the head swap is pretty much the only way you'll get the compression lowered in an ej18
  10. I've got a set of the LS trim grey seats, and I'll check the condition of the door panels. Where is Harry's at? I might be willing to take a drive to deliver some stuff if need be.
  11. www.cosmoracing.com has a selection for under $60 IIRC. It will take away from low end a bit, but it'll sound friggin cool. Just make sure to stiffen the intake, with a bracket of some sort or risk vibrations damaging the maf. And stay away from oiled filters.
  12. I don't know specificaly for gen1's. But the gen 2 y pipes I've seen have had a plug for the o2 sensor. Maybe he could just find one and put the sensor in it.
  13. But you can clearly see the composite headlights.
  14. Buy it and don't look back. It won't stay around long at that price.
  15. I've got grey interior legacy parts. What sort of stuff are you looking for?
  16. Probably was something loose then. At least its gone now, and you've ogt mounts just incase those do go out for real.
  17. I modified a set of ea81 control arms for the bigger ball joint. I forget what size bit was used, but we only had to go about halfway down the length for it to fit perfect.
  18. It'll have the ej18, rock solid motor. As long as the car is in good shape, and maintainence records are up to date it won't need much of anything for a while. Figure at about 120K it'll be ready for a timing belt, at that time check the idlers and probably do a water pump. I wouldn't think of giving any more than $1500 for the car though. They can be found with awd in that price range if you shop around some.
  19. Did you get the bolts out? Maybe unbolt the radiator and move it up some and jack some more.
  20. I don't think its a requirement. If it is I haven't read it yet. I did the 2-pot front swap from a 91 turbo on my mom's 98 L a couple weeks ago now. The difference was absolutely amazing. On the other hand, money is tight, and there is nothing wrong with drum brakes. My 95 brighton would stop just as well in the snow as my 90 ls wagon. Both non-abs, both manual, but the 90 had rear discs.
