5mt and 2nd is the only gear it will go into. I'm thinking syncros or something. I haven't driven the car so I dunno.

I have a friend with a 92 legacy. her transmission only goes into 2nd. So I am going to replace it for her. I'm going to get a junkyard or craigslist (or something of the sort) transmission. Is there anything different about the old legacys? is it a hard job? Is there anything I need to look for specificly? tell me things I need to know! Thanks guys!
