so no sanding the rattle can paint? just the primer? in thinking i will sand the paint after i put about 2 coats of t on, and then re-apply 2 more and sand it with about a 1500 or 1600 grit and then buff the ************ out of it and call it a day -

and then you just sprayed the rattle can of paint on it? did you have any orange peel? or did you have to sand the paint at all and the re-spray it? im very interested in how you did it. i have allready sanded my car down to bare metal in some places, and in othe rplaces i just havent got to it, im thinkin i will just rough up the rest of the paint and then primer the whole thing white, and give it the white gloss coat that i was wanting to originally finish it off with -

oh, well with the belt driven fan, thats a different story. the easiest thing to do is to do this: wire your electric fan up to your coil. you wont have to worry about switches, it turns off when the car is off and uses very little power. plus the belt driven fan uses more power from the engine(i believe) than this way does -
silly me, i didnt see that lol

whered you find that right and drive from?

so... this is mixed in with the gas?

if your running the same engine as i am i litteraly just walked in from taking my ac stuff unter the hood out. the compressor, the radiator thing(blanking on name right now) all the lines and wiring( had to cut 2 blue and 1 black wire) and i shrink wrapped ity all until suimmer rolls around. its REALLY easy to take it out. but under the dash, it might be a little bit hard to do. -

you, sir, have a pm! -
how hard was it to put the motor into this vehicle? did you use the stock mounts? or did you have to re mount them in different places?
-
uh wtf? im reading about one engine will go into the car if the ea-t blows and then the subject completely friggin changes to using methanol and water. and then how some ones complaining about using water cooling. i dont understand. whats all this about? this seems very interesting
-
well, the turbo will come with the motor(stock), and i believe i can get the wiring for the motor some where. as for the exhaust, can i just do a custom re-route like i allready have on my car? or does it necessairly need to be the EXACT measurements? and if i do that, can i still keep my lower cross-member? because i want to keep welding and cutting to a minimal. ps: the motor will fit on to the original mounts correct? or will i need new ones mounted in a new location? plus will the tranny of my old engine fit onto the new one?
-
is this possible? i saw a turboed engine for sale and wanted to know what will i need to swap it over? tranny? motor mounts? ecu(if any were included)?
-
hmmm.NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT IT THAT WAY!
-
how can i remove my tranny w/o having to remove mt bolts from the exhaust mani.? im scared to try and remove them for the fear that i might break the bolts, and have to get them drilled out n replaced or can i just pull out the engine and l leave the tranny on the car? what would be the more safer and easy way to go?
-
no its just a semi built original engine.
-
true, but is there a possibility that it COULD leak from the cv axle seals?
-
the connection of the bell houstong or tranny (w/e its called) where it connects to the engine
-
ok heres another question, if i rerplaced the cv axles(which i did) and i didnt get new seals, would that cause the tranny to leak fluid? because thats what is happening now. i was thinking ti was the tranny front seal but iono
