What's your wrenching experience?
zukiru replied to mcbrat's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
Type: maintenance, shadetree, modifications. ("tuning") What: import/tuner (i count my Escort days as import as they were re-skinned Mazdas) Years: the better part of 12 or 13 years. Never really serious though. Electrical (used to maintain concert lighting for a living) I'm a singer/songwriter and review toys on youtube ( aka nerd) -

Are you servicing bearings when you do belts?

Email sent.

Its not a daily. And they will be for the 20-ish miles to the rallyx and for the event. Narrower should be better for rally? Load rating is no big deal for this car. Its a sub 2300 pound fwd XT. I don't care about the 30 buck price difference. I just think the 155s might have more grab in the dirt

actually. my model calls for 165sr13 never even heard of those. has the 175s on it now. doing the tire size claculator... I'm going to buy the 155s. they will be just fine!
-
175-70 is the suggested size. but I found the winterforce at in stock size for only just a littel more. I got impatient and asked a question before doing enough research. I am good now! thanks! oh and these ain't fer snow. cause we don't get that here.
-
155-80-13? these are a good price, new and are Winterforce. or should I pay a little more for 175-70-13?

I agree. Go Get your jack. I'll be back in an hour and hope to see results. -
speedometer craps out in the cold.

Yeah I did that last year. But I did see a thread on subaruxt.com about gear oil riding a bad cable to the speedo. Could have gear oil in it.... Maybe. -

do these have grease in them I can clean and replace? that's the only reason I can think that it does this.
-
and I have had them sit for six months and the gas go bad. I figure it's the humidity here. water in the air causes fuel to turn?

value of newly purchased rx turbo
zukiru replied to jamie's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
88 wouldn't be a flapper maf. and it looks to be 4wd to me. did I miss something? I think it looks pretty good. but yeah the car I risked a long drive on was from a forum member who had been driving it around and tinkering on it. I LOVE those spoilers. Rob, I would probably buy this. if it was a state over. say Georgia or Tennesee. some of us can't be picky in the places we live. -

I drove an xt turbo back from utah.... Craziest adventure of my life. Lol No speedometer, no tach, no air in the struts. I made it back fine. -
Lifting an xt is fine but this is a legend.... It's more tail of the dragon than woodswagon.
