    true, but I have to crack the case anyway and will be dealing with the internals already.... I am way too cheap to have a shop do it.... 200 bucks for just the labor... nah I'll work for free thanks. on that note for 450 i'll buy 2 ej22s or something lol

    I have to pull my 2wd five speed apart to fix a leak and a bearing... any LSDs that might fit in the front? did a little searching, but not much so flame away:Flame:

    leaky injector? or lines to injector under the carpet shorted to gound? those flapper mafs are tricky. did you get one from a turbo? I do have one.

    when I search for XT or XT6 the important XT/6 word gets removed the search engine will actually search for Alcyone and Vortex.

    I would go to a parts chain, or a walmart and buy a wireless fog remote. about 20 bucks and has a key fob for turning them on/off. good for finding the car in a parking lot, too. congrats! I knew you had good taste!

    could we maybe possibly use Alcyone or vortex to post so it can be searched.... not being able to find this stuff is a headache!

    what year is your car? pre 87.5 cars don't have optical dizzys I was thinking about a similar swap involving an EJ18 or 22 and an 85 turbo computer. mine's an 86 though.

    not knocking it at all. but the first forester looks so much nicer to me,. but I was never a fan of Chrome and ALL new cars have it now! congrats!

    the adjustable FPR with gauge is all over ebay. even has a gauge. not sure what the injector flow is on a NA ZX I have easy access if you'd like a set.

    very carefully. it's not a big deal really it's just a vacuum solenoid. run hot to it and the switch in the ground. Done!

    if the rear over hang was shortened it would be better.

    I really like the idea of an EJ18 turbo myself.... i wouldn't want to mess up the great mileage you are likely getting, though.
