yeah... seems like a weak spot for sure.... (part of the reason for poor cooling ea82ts?)
-
cool... thanks!

doesn't matter about the tourque convertor... I'm pulling it at the junk yard... timing hole FTW! that makes life simple! will be using the Briggs pull method, lol.....
-
can I get o the TQ converter bolts from the stater hole?? can they be accessed from below?
-
I need the info on resealing this pipe he is speaking of... it's what's given me issues all along... is it and o-ring or RTV, or what? nice thread!
-
yeah sorry I forget brats are one piece.
-
so another thing that makes the Euro XT different.
-
undo the center bearing then the whole unit should slide forward... (the plate with the four bolts can also stick like a wheel to a hub a little bumping could loosen it.)

any body in washington? (car storage temporary?)

I have a lip spoiler coming soon for my xt if it will fit... but I'd like to talk about yours and the mud flaps..... I like the look! (is the thing between the lights removable... the RX turbo reflector thing) the regular sedans don't have it. -

Rob says it isn't really worth trying to get it here.... I guess I give up this time... but I now have a mission to get me a little sedan to clone an RX with. how are the mud flaps and spoiler? -

yeah.... I kinds fell for it.... but Rob filled me in on the condition and the need for the parking spot.... and I understand you scrapping it now... kind of.. you have to understand that the only Ea sedans I have seen here (along with 3 XTs) were all at the u-pull going to the crusher..... I have never even seen an RX anything in person in my life..... it's hard to watch something you'd love to own get flattened.... thanks everybody for the kind offers you made..... I tend to get excited... and I tend to want to save all of the subarus...:-\ -
that's funny! Caleb....
-
here too... only source is the u-pull good thing the prices are CHEAP! (four cylinder motor 109.99)

I don't know where that is... (toppenish) big farm sounds good... it will be a roller only... would that be an issue? this not a confirmed need... feeling for a space before I try to buy this roller.. I get upset when things I would love to have go to the crushe on the opposite side of the country, and we have none here..... sorry washington state... I would be on a mission to get it here after I have it safe. -
I'm not actually doing it... (I actually love my EA82!) I just think it could be done... but only on an 85-86 non crank angle car... it's more an idea... the escort dizzy fires the coil the computer reads that.... somehow I thought it was something worth exploring.... but the truth is most of these cars are carbed or spfi

here's the first part of my research. ea series TPS on EJ18 TB.. and add in the escort disty... (problem herei s the later FI has the light in it) so 85-86 only... I think it would work... any thoughts?
-
I'll take the EA82T... if you get rid of it...
-
