hmm my FWD imp shift linkage looks nothing like that... looks like it's going to be something I have to figure out... nice cross member pics saved me many worries, though... looks like I can use my EA FWD cross member almost exactly like stock! (BTW Phil FTMFW)

ewww Tempo.... Tempo?, no thanks, I'll walk.
-
I have searched... but not haveing much luck.. I am trying to be prepared before hand... all I seem to find in the search for linkage fixes is "address the linkage" can we be more specific?? cause I am not finding anything helpful! (and I might be searching wrong, search and I have a hard time getting along)

Removing Wood From Cylinder

did the pencil come out?? -
bump... needs more votes folks come on!

you might not want to do this either lol but the camry ran better after finding the Vac line for the FPR and giving it a few pulls... a vacuum pump would have been nice right then.
-
be sure to get the turbo spoiler. and find me one too...
-
the FPR allows fuel to enter (or not) the return line. when it doesn't allow fuel through you have higher pressure. if it's busted the fuel flows straight through and you won't have enough pressure. my camry ran rough because of a return line once. but that was because the pump wasn't picking up because nothing was going back to the cup in the tank. (EA82 has an external pump and won't have a cup) but the line out of the tank could be clogged with fuel gunk. (running the car a day or two solved this) I assume you sea-foamed?
-
yes.. and you can also clamp the return line shut... if it runs right (although rich) then that's the issue.
-
done...

Fuel injection FTW. Kthnxbye.

if you got the gonads to run pink wheels, then by all means seriously? :-\

I would think I nice flat bottomed lug nut and a lock washer would be good to use, too... just thinking out loud here, though.

give me the turbo XT... win/win I have a nice new red XT and you have one less car to drive. -
found something about the u-joint but not the whole driveshaft.
-
I would really like pics of your bracket if you have time.

ignition BS....on 87 XT non-turbo
zukiru replied to RMVR53's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
still... the effect of the clutch slipping little bits at a time looked like a "jumpy" Tach.... It's also likely that my disty bushing is going out, it is 187,000 miles old.... this car has so many little quirks it loses me in the diagnostics department... at least it cranks up every day.... I think Rob is right on this .... maybe your tach issue and stalling issues aren't related?
