  1. When the green single pole connectors are connected, the ECU begins displaying any codes. Unplugged, nothing should happen.
  2. Bingo! I would do it this way if/when I do it again.
  3. +1 for a MSD Blaster 2. I'm running one on my 84 T-wagon and its flawless!
  4. I was just checking out your engine bay pic and I have a concern. Please relocate your positive battery cable away from your steering shaft. After my tranny swap I accidently snagged my heater hoses on that and popped them both off. I don't want to think about what would happen with a battery cable!
  5. Its nice to see another EA81T cut free from the 3AT. Let us know how it drives!
  6. ^^^ Thats all I needed to hear. Organic disc w/ sprung hub for me!
  7. The VF11 (Leg unit) shares flanges with the TD04.
  8. How about this: On your average GL, yeah that would be pretty bad. Your GL however has the power/speed/handling to back that up so they cancel out.
  9. Thats awesome that you were able to maintain the trip computer AND ADD cup holders to the setup. Great job!!
  10. Not sure if they still make those... Call them up Beataru
  11. 1) We tend to use sand/gravel on the west coast to cope with snow and ice. There is a lot of it around here, so why not use it? This keeps our cars from rusting out like they do on the Wrong Coast. 2) We are the perfect environment for Scoobys. Snow and mountains that require 4WD in the West half and mostly flat boring 2WD zones in the Eastern half. 3) We are closer to the port of entry. The WA is the B3TTAR!!!
  12. Oh, really? I'll throw some in there, my bad. For the head flanges I had to have those made. My builder used .25" SS stock and to be sure it would not crack or warp, I asked that he make it with four stud holes. All I did on the head side was to pull out the factory exhaust studs and replaced the two per side with four SS studs and hardware, with a used factory gasket under that. When I pull it off to add the EGT bung I will put a new gasket in there, but for now, with four bolts per flange, it is holding up very well! I haven't logged many miles with it, but no flaws so far! 13. It should not matter where the O2 sensor is as long as its before the cats.
  14. How much did that set you back, if you don't mind my asking?
  15. I think I have a pic or two of mine in my gallery. Feel free to check it out.
  16. I'll choose F. I just found a lead on a fully rebuilt MPFI EA82. With proper fuel management, this car should last for a while. I'll keep everyone updated.
  17. I was going to buy that car today!!! If you change your mind about keeping it, let me know!
  18. Why? Why kill this perfectly good car with ricey mods?
  19. Yeah, come on!! Just because he broke it doesn't mean we don't want to see the videos!!! BRING IT ON!
  20. Thats pretty cool! I might have to get a similar set up for our car. Couldn't make that one, the only car of mine that is drivable is lifted, hahaha!
  21. Because it will be more reliable on the trail. Its like a big EA82 without the HG problems.
  22. *COUGH* make your own! *COUGH* Seriously, its not that hard and there are tons of DIY pages on it on the web. All you need is a vacuum, some plastic sheets, some resin and a few sheets of fiberglass and one of CF. Thats how most of those sweet kamakazi kits are made anyhow.
