  1. If it is indeed a DL it will have the quad-headlamp setup versus the single large glass headlamps. If there is a DL, I would like the grey plastic cubby under the stereo.
  2. Based on the experience of KillerB Motorsports (or was it Turn in Concepts?), I would highly advise against this. They outlined (non-scientific) test they ran where having a magnet on the ENGINE drain plug was not helpful and actually detrimental, but failed to get too detailed when pressed. You can find the thread on NASIOC. TRANSMISSION oil pans and magnets are a different story, since they have steel particles suspended in the fluid vs. an engine which will only have steel particulates after a something has gone terribly wrong. Just a suggestion, feel free to ignore.
  3. Unless the ER27 has larger bolts than the EA82, you'll find that converting to studs will be pretty expensive, since they're an odd M11 size.
  4. Are they all wagons? Mileage on the chassis? Any DL models among them?
  5. I'd love to know a bit more about the parts you have. I'm not looking to swoop in for the whole shebang, but it sounds like you have parts I would like. What years are the four vehicles? Any of them turbocharged? What color are the interiors? Are any of the wheels alloys?
  6. Yes, please let up know what years they are as well.
  7. I shot you a PM so we don't clutter up this thread anymore.
  8. Yes, minus the actual lamps. There is some damage, but could be easily repaired, the car had a minor front end impact that landed it in the junkyard.
  9. I'm pretty sure they are M11.
  10. My EJ20G-swapped EA82 uses the coolant expansion tank from a USDM WRX. Works fine and isn't made of plastic
  11. I have a set of those, if you're looking.
  12. Necro-bump! I actually stumbled across the dampening rates for the EA82 the other day and was kind of shocked to find out that the struts on the RX are about 2-3 times more stiff than the base GL struts, on top of having stiffer springs. Sadly, the struts are NLA for all RX-specific part numbers.
  13. As I recall the distributors differ from 2WD to 4WD, with the 2WD distys having a more desirable curve.
  14. Yeah, caged ball bearings don't especially enjoy side loads, much less the forces you're putting on them with 10 -in. wide slicks! The EJs moved to a pair of tapered roller bearing that tend to do MUCH better with side loads. If you move up to the 5-lug conversion no only do you get the nicer bearings, but the brake options and steering knuckle geometry both improve over the EA parts. I was hoping to have my coupe rolled into the garage to start replacing that center diff (Track season is just around the corner!) but the RX in the garage decided to throw a couple new codes after I replaced the knock sensor, so the RX-RA repairs are delayed again...
  15. Might want to consider a rear suspension conversion as well, in that case. Our rear wheel bearings really don't like RWD. I killed the rear bearings in my RWD EA81T wagon with just 100 hp... I've got an STI-catalog 20kg center diff to replace the blown one in the RX-RA's V3 JDM WRX transmission, she will live again!
  16. Not since 09/2013, and started a thread about selling his hatch...
  17. Yeah, the 87+ sensors have a green plastic connector, but they sure aren't $10! I found them on RockAuto under the XT, NOT the RX. Two options still available there, so I bought a couple of them, just in case.
  18. Nice to see you made the migration from NASIOC, you should find all the help you need with the ER27 on this forum.
