  1. Sorry Eric, I didn't realize that it was an exclusive agreement. My bad!
  2. Dang, that looks SWEET! I need to get in thouch with that guy!
  3. C'mon Eric, be a little more open minded than that. Its ok if more than one rag covers our get together, right?
  4. What kind of damping do you have with those man sized springs?
  5. Wow, 6,000lb front and 8,000lb rear springs? That must be one punishing ride!
  6. Pictures will help a lot in diagnosing the part you are refering to.
  7. Could someone get the PN or take a pick of an EA82T Flapper-door MAF for me? Pretty please?
  8. Tisk tisk Ed, you should know my car by now! Sorry to hear about your results, but at least YOU got to compete! I'm so used to driving between Bellevue and Bellingham that is doesn't seem that far anymore.
  9. Will this fit the AFM on an EA81T? Aren't they the same as the 85-86 meter on EA82T cars?
  10. Where can I get SKF bearings? NAPA, Schucks?
  11. Ed, I've got to be honest, I knew it was you the moment I saw the wheels on your Brat! My girlfriend was talking to me on our way back to Bellingham and I caught her mid sentence with, "Oh my God, a BRAT! Wait a second... IT'S ED!!!!" I figured you wouldn't recognize me, but I tried my best to remind you! It was good to see you! By the way, how did you do in the rallycross?
  12. Does anyone have a favorite brand of wheels bearings? I'm looking to change the bearings when I change my brakes. Any brands better than others? Thanks for the help! Galen
  13. But which would be taller, Forester or Outback if they were fitted to an Impreza?
  14. Yeah, most new VWs have them. Actually they are getting fairly popular with OEMs of late.
  15. Damn, seven sick ru's all in one place! That really is heaven!
  16. Well after much trash talking by a certain Gen 1 owner (*COUGH* Wagonpowaa *COUGH*), it has officially been settled. An EA81T wagon (Full of options and a 13 y.o. passenger will smoke a 1980 BRAT with a weber. It was close, as in within a car length, through 2nd gear. However, after 3rd, there was no contest. The wagon cleaned up on the BRAT and left no doubt about who won. We also both raced a friend's 1965 Mini Cooper with a '98 spec (98hp, carb'd) motor which beat the BRAT soundly, but is currently tied with the wagon at one win each. Stay tuned!
  17. I just gotta ask if you know this from experience.
