  1. That falls into the 80-84 model range, so yes, it will work. Although if you plan on offroading it, then I would pu the 1800 engine in. Also that can't be the original engine because no USDM Gen 2 brats had 1600 to the best of my knowledge.
  2. HAHAHA, sucks for you guys! The dealer I go to doesn't always have what I need, but they always have the part number. And I know most of the guys who work there and they're pretty cool. They even knew about the WCSS6 and were telling people about it when I walked in. Chaplins is awesome, Ed and Wayne especially.
  3. I didn't say I was offended, I was just giving a word of caution. You never know who you might be offending.
  4. Hey, not that I care if you guys talk about it, in fact I make fun of my self all the time because I was the normal kid in my special ed class (Procrastination and A.D.D. will put you there), but just be aware that there may be people on the board that have been in special ed. Now that I think about it, there were some messed up kids in my class in high school!
  5. Did you happen to snap any pics?
  6. The rotors DO fit on the stock spindles and the calipers mount on the backing plates.
  7. Anyone got pics of lights mounted on their EA81s? I'm gonna put My Hella 500s on soon and I'd like to see where others placed their lights.
  8. I did a search and didn't seem to come up with a dealer that sold subaru pads. Where do you guys get them? I'm planning on doing brakes over winter break and I'd like to upgrade them.
  9. I finally figured out the coolant loss problem on my wagon! I figureed it was near the turbo because we had just replaced a coolant hose that fed the turbo and that it was evaporating before I could see where the leak was, but it turns out that it was on the other side of the engine bay. I parked the car and heard a coolant hiss and traced it back to the heater hose going into the car. I pushed the hose on as far as I could and tightened it up and so far it appears that the temperature is now ROCK SOLID! I'm stoked! However I now have an intermitant tapping HLA, a bit of brake squeal and an exhaust that needs to be split at the slip joint and reclocked. I'll nip the squeal in the bud when I put the rear disc conversion on since I plan on replacing all pads at teh same time. Would changing the oil take care of the HLA? Wish me luck in perfecting this car!
  10. Get in touch with bluesoob, she lives in the ham. Otherwise, I'll be back up there in two weeks or so.
  11. License plate frames for sure and refrigerator magnets!
  12. Drop me a line about the wheels.
  13. Actually most of our wheels are 13x5 or 13x5.5. I think I have the only documented set of 13x6 wheels for our cars. Pics to come.
  14. Eric, how many subes were at the West Coast Subaru Show this year? Help jog my memory!
  15. I thnk that most subarus are used in areas where there is salt on the roads and most people think of the old ones as being disposal transportation so they dont take good care of them.
  16. Quattro san has a turbo with a SU carb... What are you trying to say?
  17. Peter, drop me a line over winter break and I'll give you a ride in my 5spd turbo wagon. It is a HOOT!!! You won't be disapointed!
  18. I've ordered parts from them before and have been satisfied with the product and service.
  19. Does this mean that PK is gonna make those new gen kits a year sooner than we all expected?
