  1. We paid for the extended warrenty on my Mom's 97 Dodge caravan, and I'll just say that we got our money's worth and then some out of it! Also, the new legacy is not a new car. It has been on sale in Japan for more than a year and was voted car of the year over there. Thats one thing people seem to miss when a Japanese of European car makes it's debut over here, they have, more likely than not, been on sale in their country of origin for some time. Enough time to have the major bugs worked out.
  2. There are no flywheels on EA81 turbo cars because they were all automatics. You also need to be weary about the years of the cars because the flywheels got bigger after a certain point.
  3. Pictures speak a thousand words!
  4. :slobber: :slobber: Now if the stock suby wheels weighs eight pounds, I wonder if my enkeis are any lighter!!!
  5. For those of you who had mud flaps on your rigs, what did you mount them to? Bumper? Body? And did you just bolt them on or did you use a flexy mounting system?
  6. Are you sure it is from the suspension/wheel area? I just busted my exhaust on my turbo wagon and it is louder, but especially so when I let off the gas.
  7. There is a bunch of stuff over around the Bellevue area, but I don't know how much of it has been fenced off yet. Snoqualmie isn't bad.
  8. Could you find out if the have any EA81T heads? One of mine has a small crack in it, and I'd like to get it swapped out. Also, could you find out what EA81T specific stuff is sitting around the shop? Thanks!
  9. I just use 10W30 as it doesn't get cold enough where I live to need a lighter oil.
  10. If you turn the impeller around on the oil and water pump and made a camshaft that was a mirror image of the stock one, and maybe the firing order on the disty, then it would in reverse no problem!
  11. The going rate for a CCR engine is around $1,000. Not cheap, but not bad either. I should have done that with my engine, but the shop I went to charged me $900 for just doing the heads.
  12. Shawn, what EA81T parts, if any, do you have in that enormous stash?
  13. This is what I'm running on my wagon. 13" Enkei eight spoke wheels. They are DAMN light, but I haven't had them on a scale yet.
  14. I'd LOVE to have rims that light! However, I'm going to side with NorthWet and say that the rims probably weigh around 15lbs or more.
  15. I don't think the Magnum has any AWD option, although I have been wrong before. The highlander/murano/freelander are more like SUVs and have "AWD" systems that match that. They do not put power to all four wheels at once. My vote is the subaru. Your local mechanics should be able to handle anything the sube can throw their way, but if you have doubts, take it to the dealership, I mean after all, every car they touch is a sube!
  16. I'll be avalible either day, just need to see what works for the family. I might have some other subes with me.
  17. Boy, you weren't kidding about that short term memroy told you where the temperature sensor was only a post ago!
  18. This was discussed a while back, but I can't seem to find it. Who has done this and what was involved? I seem to remember something about grinding the trailing arm a bit, but no pics were ever produced.
  19. Hey Ken, I've had mine for over a year. I just used the Momo hub/adapter. They are really rare, but they are out there.
  20. Edrach, he always seems to have a set of Pugs sitting around.
  21. I like the performance that I've gotten out of my Kumhos so far. They are around $75 from the Tire rack, so they're not too bad price wise and I bet that they are much better in mud than the Walmart tires.
