  1. that could be. if nothing else then i guess I have set of horns for my pickup.
  2. Blazer highway blaster horns (AutoZone)..just a touch beefier than stock. I didn't check the resistance b4 installation so I will have to pull one or both to check when I get a chance. In order for me to keep them from grounding when mounted I used a bit of wood slightly longer than the mounting bracket. so it cannot ground unless the button is pushed. hence the problem. Mike
  3. Both wires at the horn on BOTH horns are hot...The only ground i have at the moment is when the horn is bolted to the car. Usually causes not stop noise untill I remove the horn again. I was in the process of putting new horns in when this happened, and I did use a test light to make sure one was a ground. i can say that the darn things are much louder than the stock ones. I have not checked the fuse box though I can't see how a fuse would cause this.
  4. Are both wires to the horms supposed to be hot or is my car just being an evil pain in the arse? Which wire is supposed to be the ground? mike
  5. Well have it adjusted .. but ran out of time to get it right so i have one side slightly lower than the other but looks like the wheels are straight up and down or closer... I will have to finish the project this weekend. Thanks for the help. mike
  6. Thank you for the replies.. The back seems to be stock, so it will be the front that will get the attitude adjustment. Mike
  7. If it was an ea82 i would say subarutex but since it isn't ..I have no idea
  8. Is it easier to crank the susp. back down with the car raised or on the ground? My 86 hatch is eating axles and tires and she is getting expensive.I also would like to know what size wrench is needed for the job, yea I am being lazy but my son also played with my tools and has them scattered throughout the garage (Grrr). I have gotta get it done. Mike
  9. It is more a less a plate for under the light just to keep it off the windshield. its a bigger prob. with Brats T-tops. It could give you a mounting point if you wanted to use a couple 1/4" round bar to deflect stubborn branches and whatnot. just a thought.
  10. If/when you do the removable light bar. Think about little deflectors so that the lights dont illuminate your windshield as well. Mike
  11. you could move west to accomodate your clients which would cut down on shipping.
  12. Could be that my Weber is done the same way. Idle sits usually around 1100..I may have to ask for some detailed pics when i get some spare time.
  13. This is sweet.. Almost cool enough to put lift plans on hold for another year but not quite..There are a few people up here that would skin me alive! mike
  14. Does it sound like it is binding, and is worse when the car has been sitting for a few hours? Mike
  15. I have had very good reuslts with the Cooper wintermasters.. nice deep lug..be mindful of how fast you take a corner though... The tire roll can be a little scary. mike
  16. I could hear it if it was next to my door..freaking peterbuilt is loud. I thought Qman's was silver?...guess it has been far too long since I have visited with the boys.
  17. could have been i was in my work truck(My seat is 7' off the ground) so it looked stock. i dont think it had a rollbar though.
  18. I saw it on Thursday I think. had the yellow rally type suby logo on the rear corner(s).. just wondering..It is good to see more people coming around to the insanity of subaru pride. Mike
  19. It's all in good fun anyway. i keep waiting for Eric to start modifying each car a little differently just for the idividuality of each car he possesses(sp?). Call it a signature of sorts...other than the lift. Mike
  20. Eric, sometimes I worry about your mental health..J/K You know you aren't going to be able to keep it clean. Mike
  21. I thought the EJ25 went to closed deck after 99 or was that the EJ20? Mike
  22. That sounds all to familiar...Stay up too late and get up too early..not enough coffee tends to make for hazardous morning..for others. Mike
