are they talking about the green connectors? on my dl you had to plug in green connectors. well they plug into each other. on my dl it was up by the driver side by the hood hinge. if thats what your talking about

thats not true... thats imposable. yes most cars to me are "just Cars" but i have spent alot of time riding in this car, and actually it was the first motor i have ever pulled out of a car. well sorta i helped cause i was 8. but if it was any other car i have owned or my dad has owned i wouldn't care. its just the fact that this was my "favorite subaru" even before i could drive oh well, i can buy other subarus i like more

lately when i go to get a part for my rx they dont have a rx listed as a model. so i just get the same year turbo wagon parts.

yea its the pull and save on knox. it was reall sad just to see it there. i wish the guy would have told me that he was gonna sell it to pullandsave i would have bought it.

so i was at my friends house and i look across the street and there musta been at least 7 legacy and imprezas at her neighbors house. is it anybody on here?? if not they should join my friend lives on locust out by the Argonne library

i thought i would never see it. my dads old xt that was the first subi i have ever worked on. it sad to see a car that a father and son built together being tore apart at pull and save. but... if anybody needs engine parts off of it i can vouch that it was rebuilt about 180*** ago. they put over 100*** on the car in a year.talk about driving! oh and a straight xt 6 down there right now almost complete as i was leaving somebody was taking the wheels but hurry theres a complete 5 lug swap for ya!

i found a rx by my house that i can tell has been sitting for a while.... it prolly has a blown head gasket but its got a rust free body... i wonder.... i wonder how much they would let it go for? i smell a engine swap from my car to that car... that would be nice.. 2 rxs in my driveway thats Heaven hahaha:lol:

its got a timing belt.... im almost leaning twards a fuel issue but i wont have a chance to look at it untill later today.

for a temp. fix if your in bad need of heat i would use the cigarette lighter plug in style heaters. Or do like GD says and just light the pass. seat on fire could be entertaining.... and nice heat too.. :

Sounds like your gonna be cleaning up other peoples wiring mess. Did you check fuses and such? i don't use the stock speaker wire system. i think its just easier to run speaker wire to each speaker. but thats me........:-\ i hate wiring.

my friend wants me to fix her corolla tomorrow does anybody on here have any experience with the 87 4A-GE Engine? The Problem is.... it has no power. floored it barley accelerates. like its out of time. i didn't have any tools with me today to check anything out. but she says it recently sprayed coolant on the spark plug covers... MAYBE?? I'm thinking maybe its fuel related what do you guys think??

if i'm correct the engine will run. but not very well. if its the turbo your just better off getting a new one. or used.

sweet thanks guys. i wasn't really sure. i always thought if you used 4wd on pavement it grenaded axles and trannys.

so you can use the lever on dry pavement?? just not the diff. lock switch right?

so i was wondering my rx has a 4wd lever and diff. lock. when is it in 4wd to you have to use the lever? or is it in all the time. this could be a dumb question. but i was curious....
