  2. check the off road section of the forum. somone made a sketch of a 2 inch lift. i did it and it was less than 20 bucks in steel

Ive used acrylic latex exterior house paint, it was the only flat paint i could get in custom colors, i wanted to do a camo paint scheme it has never faded or flaked off, i applied it over the OEM paint, wet sanded it with 120 grit wet dry sand paper. 20 dollars a gallon dutch boy. water soluble clean up. i did thin it and spray it with a hlvp gun . i guess you could roll it. maby you could rent a airless sprayer ??? i know everybody thinks im crazy
  9. if your an apartment dweller you may have a problem. some places wont let you do a repaint, and other major repairs and they determine what is a major repair .and you have to have it at least above 50 degrees outside , warmer is ideal
  10. somtimes they weld themselves in there, you can try heat, or a cobalt drill bit, the pins are hardened,and a high speed steel bit wont last long, they can be a big "pita"
  11. Its gotta be the relay, the contacts can be corroded or burnt, my fan worked intermittently before it died, it was the relay
  12. will it run if you put a small amount of gas down the carb ?

  14. if you do put in a new t stat test the old one just to verify if it is in fact sticking, put in in a pan of water turn on the stove and see if it opens
  15. they have nippondenso and Hitachi, Hitachi was on the 2 wheel drive and denso was on the 4x4, except the automatic 4x4, anyway the Hitachi has a screw to hold the rotor in and the denso does not. unless i have it bassackwards ? its all confusing
  16. the stock craptachi alternator is crap, 40 amps full output, lame.... i notice that if im running the heat full, and the high beams on, and the radio cranked there isnt much left to charge the battery..

  18. in the cold northeast. Michigan at least, i get the same problem. if i make allot of short runs. i live about a half mile from work. when i run the car for a long time it boils off the water Left by condensation and goes away.
