  5. i would think the rear is easyer than the front, im still struggling with my strut tower extentions, in the rear you dont have to calculate angles , just how much you have to block the diff, as opposed to the suspention..

  11. is your transmission a push button auto, if you shut the car off it cancels the 4x4 setting, according to my manual. and if your already stuck they have a hard time re engaging, unless you can get a few feet of foward motion
  12. wooohoooo get to finally check out the new snow tires, not so good when the snow packs the undercarage and lifts it the car off the ground, ill need a 6 inch lift next
  13. ive run 195 70 15,s , with no triming. i think they were 24.5 inch dia

  16. is this a feedback carb ? my 86 had a broken o2 sensor wire, it ran like poop at idle ,till i fixed the o2 wire
  17. if you have good heat i would suspect the guage, you may not want to cover the radiator untill you verify the temperature.
  18. i have the old bumper from my 86 wagon project, the shell and the steel part. also have a bumper from a 93 loyale , but its a sedan. let me know, im an hour and 15 min away.... michigan subie owners unite..., oh ya theirs a 91 loyale wagon in a junkyard near me too.

  22. if its really bad sway and it still steers you may have poped loose a ball joint, should be easy to spot if you jack it from the center
  23. i remember when i was a kid, 16 years old, you could buy a vw bug for around 100 to 350 dollars , a fixerupper. now days if a bug runs its 1500 to 4000, and their getting harder and harder to find, although i dont think a subaru has as large of a following ,they are becoming more and more hard to find. i have 3 parts cars and dont pass up a 100 to 500 dollar subaru very often, if their within 150 miles away. i wish i had a place to store them. wifey is gettingt a little miffed about it. i could always convert one into a bedroom if need be...
