i am getting very excited! looks like a nice park. im used to driving straight down 35, and seeing no trees in iowa. looks pretty wooded though. that hill climb looks great. MC most of those rigs look like they are built for rockwalling and mud. that terain looks great for subarus to slide along on floorboards (thats why subies are slooth underneath). or are the pics misleading? fun fun

it is a 360 cubic centimeter motor stock though right? 3times the hp? guess thats a 2stroke for you. do 2strokes like turbos? i wanna see a fast one. -
i like oil coolers. but if the oil is almost 100 degrees hotter than the radiator, and its in front of the rad, what if it heated things up? electric fans on the highway dont do anything, cuz at speed it has pleanty of air. what about runing an extra heater core infront of the rad? arent the passages through the ac condenser pretty small compared to the rad, and coolant lines. thats interesting about the oil temp. i thought it would be alot less in a water cooled motor. the oil in my harley (air/oil cooled) stays around 200, thats in the tank though(wet sump system). cant have too much cooling, or sensors!

i just drove through downtown traffic in minneapolis, and i didnt even turn on the fan! sat still for almost 30 minutes with small bursts of speed enery few minutes. just hope i wont run it too cool in the winter, with the oil cooler. but thats why they make thermostats for oil coolers:D -

the same belt works just fine, but then the alt is closer to the battery. dont think the volvo will fit, without hammering and cutting. but give it a try -
its supposed to make a difference in rod strength. so... rock on dude:headbang: is it just a bead blaster, or some machine that does it?

ah yes, but this isnt just any filter, its a k&n and the antidrainback valve works great. i tested it with some air and oil. -

when has a 360 evern made 75hp? its 360cc stock right? a 600 cc modern motorcycle makes about that right? how could a na ever have 75hp, even bored out. i might have the 360cc thing wrong. not sure. just wondering here, dont start nocking the hatch again. -
DAMN MORGAN that means you will need rear brakes:D you'll have it done by then. all subarus? or a mix? do i have to register before then?

the adapter kit that is available through a member of this board comes with an ea82 flywheel adapted to fit onto an ej motor. so it must be doable.but who wants more hp when your drivetrain cant handle it?
-
if you arent getting spark out of the coil, and the distributor is turning, then it has to be one of the wires on the distributor. theres like 2or three on one and one or two on the other. if you have them messed up then the coil would never get a signal to fire. they all ground near the starter i think. its gotta be someting stupid, like you said. those spfis are so damn simple. and the igniter, is sometimes off the bracket and down a wire a few inches, that could be it too. you gotta be able to hotwire the coil right guys?

if your dad has heard if from some guy... then it will be hard to convince him otherwise. i have a dad too:D and some people just dont trust turbos for some reason. sounds like you should get a ea82 spfi motor, and put a weber on it. the spfi has higher compression, and a weber means no wierd wiring of the computer. by the way, the turbo motors last just as long as the na motors:brow:
