  1. Here ya go http://www.deweygriffinsubaru.com/subaru-world-record-attempt.htm
  2. Date and location announced! http://westcoastsubarushow.com/
  3. Change the oil, bang on it with a hammer, I dunno it's an ea82 it'll probably be fine
  4. My guess is junkyard. The longblock in my car came from a junkyard and rather than pull the drain plug, they punch a hole in the pan.
  5. Do you know where I would be able to find said photos? I did some searching but no luck.
  6. Does the handle on the hatch itself not work? Edit: nvm, I just read the part about camping
  7. Thanks for the input. I've decided I'm going to leave this one awd and just look for a p/t 4wd trans to bastardize. Mods feel free to delete this thread.
  8. I'm planning on using this because A. I'm on a tight budget and B. I got the transmission for free. If I happen upon a p/t trans before I get the car roadworthy then I'll use that, I was just wondering about welding up the center on the xt6 trans.
  9. Ok, so I've got an ea82 wagon that I'm starting the process of rebuilding, and I'm going to make it rwd. I have an xt6 awd trans with locking center diff. Would I be alright pulling the front axles and locking up the center, or do I need to weld it up? I have it partially taken apart right now, but I'm not really seeing anywhere that I can weld up the center diff. The teeth that lock the center don't look like they could take too much abuse, but I could be wrong. Has anyone done this? Or has anyone successfully welded a locking center diff?
