  1. Again, I wouldn't doubt it Haha! Maybe I should get EA82 rear Disc brakes! Are EA82 Front brakes larger? If so, would they swap onto this? Rotors look the same (Bolt wise)
  2. I wouldn't doubt it, I had little peddle while driving this thing home, So I'm sure the pads need to be serviced (Gonna use some Ceramic pads as always) Gonna need to brake lines, and I'm sure they'll break off in the wheel cylinders, so I'll need two new of those.
  3. It was pulled (1 or 2 clicks) I would think it'd pull evenly so both wheels have equal stopping power.
  4. Your encouragement is relieving, as I had never done any type of intensive welding, Guess I'll see how it goes, Spot welds are key so I've learned.
  5. Interesting on the riser, is this an '86?
  6. I guess at this point, I might as well just take the Dash out (Since everything else is out lol) I really just want to replace the entire line and not splice into the original, I tried to flare the smaller line, I have a decent single flare, and it started leaking (Hence the rubber hose with clamps HA!) I just want to do things right, figure I might as well since I have the Toyota to drive until Summer (Then I get the Loyale out!!)
  7. Whats gonna happen with the rest of the car!? Looks real clean..
  8. I need to replace all these lines (Sucks they go behind the Dash!) How much BS is it to remove this dash? Easy as a Legacy? Is this adjusted incorrectly? One side is longer then the other. Found this under the carpeting? For a Keyring?
  9. Idasho, Yes, I noticed that too. The long shaft version Rotor only had one spring insert, and was to small to fit onto the Disty. The Short shaft version I bought, fits snugly and has two spring insert things. So it should be correct James, Alright sounds good. Yeah if the cable is any good grab it Yeah we got hit with some real sticky heavy powder last night, all ice underneath and slushy as hell. Sticks to the Trees and Phone lines real nice :-p Brent, That thing looks pretty nice, Is it an '82? Wish mine was a little cleaner, but guess I'll have to make that happen my self
  10. If I didn't have a Subaru and a Star in there already, I'd be good
  11. Last Winter Storm hopefully! New, Correct Cap and Rotor from Parts Hut. Why couldn't the Dealer get these? Like a Glove. Ski wagon cover in snow!
  12. Why does Rockauto only list the 1983 GL with a 1.8? Isn't the EA81 a 1600 not an 1800? Answered my own question, Wiki. EA81 is a 1781cc motor, So its the same Cubic Centimeters as an EA82. Huh.
  13. *Cough* I would need to use the money you give me, for fuel then... Thats not fair What size are these Headlights? 7x6"? I'm looking for new units, On ebay it looks like they have new Headlight units but with Halogen bulbs vs Sealed beam.
  14. Yes, no matter what, you will always have some positive camber (Subarus naturally have some positive camber) the SJR kit compensates fairly well.
  15. Or the MilesFox method, Long pipe + Hammer = Timing Cover removal
  16. I've never had an issue on my EA82 or my EJ22, Coverless is the way to go, and I stand by that.
  17. Holy F*cking tap dancing christ! MilesFox has unloaded his pent up Subaru Knowledge in one sitting... Anyhow, good to know about the EA82 steering joint being the longer exception to the EA81. As I may Lift the Ski wagon at some point (4" possible)
  18. Cool. If I remember right, you could take the heads from an EJ22 and stick then on the EJ18, for a High-compression EJ18 (Or some such thing) Useless information, but figured I would post it
  19. Well, consider it yours. Will be hell of a lot cheeper to ship this to MI then to the Westcoast. I used to have an A/C compressor from my EA82, but I sold it to Scott (xbeerd) then he threw it in the back of a wrecked 2000 Outback for more weight lol!
  20. Tom, sure, I could hold onto it if you want it. If Buckaroo sees this, let me know. Once I get the fuel leaks fix, I will start it up and test the A/C and see how it works. I think everything is in working order.
  21. Are Dealer installed A/C Components in demand on the USMB? I'd be willing to remove all my A/C stuff and post it for sale, as I don't want it, and would prefer to clean up the engine bay.
  22. I actually want one of those for my Loyale (But all Black) its kinda 1-off
