  1. This bumper is still different the 1987 bumper. If you notice, there is a bumped up ledge on top of the bumper, and the Blinker canals look to be two piece? Strange!
  2. Tom, Good to know, I think mine is the factory CC? I have a little knob on the right side of the steering column (Says Cruise) Factory or Dealer? As for the hood latch, I am probably getting a complete assy from dude in MI. I'll let you know. As for PMs, I hadn't gotten any today.
  3. Its actually cheeper at the Autoparts store (By a few cents lol) 2 tubes will be plenty for the Oil pan and Trans pan. I would order an engine oil pan gasket from Rockauto or something, and then apply the RTV to that during install, it'll kinda be a double assurance.
  4. Your SS probably has much less sitting rust though. All my lines are garbage, but at least the trailing arm is still solid, its holding up the rear half of the car.
  5. Ah, cruise. I forgot this has Cruise! Funny, they can put power windows, and cruise control in this, but no power locks! WTF? Are we assuming the 3amp fuse is for the cruise as well?
  6. What the Hell is this thing? Looks to new for an '83 Subaru. Is this an ECU? What is this 3 Amp fuse for? There is also a relay above that (Which is not screwed down (Should be)
  7. These are pretty close, they are also 15". I have seen these on a 1993 Brumby. http://www.trailer-wheels.com/15-inch-White-Spoke-Trailer-Wheel-6-on-512_p_954.html
  8. I agree with this, Under acceleration while turning a corner with my 2" lifted EA82, I do feel a roughness from the axles. The angle is just becoming to extreme. I have yet to put the 1" square stock spacers in. Keep in mind, the Mechanical cool fan will hit the fan shroud and the Rad hoses might need to be longer if you drop the motor 1".
  9. Get this, The Dealer gave me the wrong cap and rotor for my EA81. The Rotor was super tall and did not fit on the disty shaft and the Cap did not have the little square prong which ensures the cap can not be put on incorrectly. These were both NOS Subaru parts, and these were the only part numbers Wild Subarus parts system pulled up. WTF? I returned them and went to Parts Hut, The cap looks correct and the Rotor has a short base, I will have them tomorrow morning. Heres hoping.
  10. What is wrong with this motor? Nothing? Besides missing a few things. Mr. Adventure, how come you don't buy this motor? Vs the EJ18.
  11. No, 2" you are just spacing the struts, nothing else.
  12. Damn nice! Some more finds. Since when did bent struts become kool? So, Wack Camber is the thing these days? Haha. Pretty plain jane interior.
  13. I will be watching this build!
  14. Amazingly, I can not find many pictures of a true Fairlady 2000 (I keep finding the Datsun version) Oh well, moving on... I've always wanted a Red 1989 300ZX
  15. Oh wow. I haven't seen a Nissan Fairlady 2000 in a while.. More pics of those please!
  16. I'll most likely have them, I don't plan on shipping them as the 5ft x 6" box weighs about 15lbs. Although, if someone has 14" or 15" Alloy Pugs, I would trade straight up and pay for shipping.
  17. No, I had planned to use that Steering wheel on that '87 GL. But I think I might swap it with my Loyale (Add that extra bit of goodness to it!) The Steering wheel you sent me is in really nice shape. Thank you!
  18. Chiltons are good books, just double check their Torque Specs, as sometimes they are inaccurate. (At least with the Head bolt Torque)
  19. Heads are Different, and some of the Electrical plugs "may" not be the same (Don't quote me on that) Also, if you are gonna swap an EJ18 in place of your EJ22, it might be a dog with the 4EAT. Impreza is a lighter chassis vs the Legacy. Also, if that Impreza is a 5spd, it will not have an EGR, while your Intake does because it is an Auto. Personally, I don't even know if the Intake from an EJ22 will bolt up to an EJ18 block, as I am not to familiar with the EJ18. Just some ideas you might want to check on.
  20. Heres an exploded cut-away view of a Balljoint. Here is a Balljoint in the shape of an Outer Tie-Rod. Here is a Complete Tie-Rod Assembly, Inner and Outer Rods. Complete Steering Rack and Pinion Style. Hope this helps.
  21. Yes, you have the steering rack assembly understood To check the condition of your inner or outer Tie rods, Leave the car on the ground, Grab the wheel and try to turn it Left/Right, If there is not any type of play (And you'll feel it move if there is) then you are ok. A Tie Rod will give you some warning before it completely breaks, it will be come loose/slopping feeling in the steering (Not as responsive as usual) Just keep in mind, the only thing holding your where straight is a solid steal shaft about 5/8" with a Ball welded to it which sits in a steal cup (Know as a Balljoint) amazing how durable they are considering the forces applied when you hit a curb or pot hole.
