  1. Vented will chew up pads quicker. Rockauto should have standard non vented Rotors instock. $8 Beck/Arnley Non-Vented Rotors from Rockauto. Good deal. http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=491413
  2. Normally its right there on the driver side, up by the firewall.. See the Round silver can in a holder with the Fuel lines, up by the wiper motor?
  3. Stealing is not wrong in a world of capitalists and Dictators. I get what I need, and I don't believe in being over charged for something that would normally get tossed on the ground and ran over. Think of it as "Recycling"
  4. http://www.sturtevantauto.com/index.php/Main_Page I know for a fact, they have a 2002 Legacy, White 2001 Outback, and another complete Outback inside the fence. I stole a bunch of stuff off most of these cars.
  5. Sturtevant Auto has a few 2000+ Subarus (Your Gen) they can pull the entire knuckle and will still be cheep. They are Puerto rican owned. Right off I94 south.
  6. Just remember, Reagen owned a Brat. I don't think he looked like a "Subaru Person" guess it takes all kinds. Doesn't look like he took very good care of his Subaru
  7. Anyone else think this is interesting. http://www.ebay.com/itm/SMOKED-2-WATER-TEMP-DIGITAL-GAUGE-RADIATOR-HOSE-SENSOR-ADAPTER-38mm-/130645178823?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3ASubaru%7CModel%3AGL&vxp=mtr&hash=item1e6b0f39c7#ht_5107wt_1026
  8. You hit that spot on, The Engine bay filter would have only been on the Fuel Injected Engines. They probably started putting the fuel filter in there in late '87.
  9. Ah yes, the Manual Adjustable rods are a dead give away. Now I forgot what my '95 had. Thought I remembered seeing adjusting nuts.
  10. I should have taken pictures when I had the covers off my '95. As I an not 100% sure what RR setup looks like.
  11. Those are the 14" 27x8.5 BFGoorich All-Terrains which are discontinued in 14" (You might get lucky and find NOS)
  12. Yeah, I can do that for ya. Anyway, I guess one more teaser to keep the thread interesting. This was taken Summer 2009 back when this car was still in WI. I actually think this car looks better now, with the Side molding delete and the Flat black. Moldingless EA82s look pretty good, nice sharp body lines. Now:
  13. This thread got me thinking about Swaybars again. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=274 Perhaps I can run either an 16mm RX 4WD rear swaybar, or an XT6 4WD 20mm, Keep running the Rally Alloys with 185/70R-13 Falken Sincera SN-828. http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/tires/falken/vehicle/viewProductResults.do?v=003124%7C1987&ar=70&rd=13&cs=185
  14. I am figuring you are going to be blowing close (If not more) then $300 to ship both of these bumpers. And the reality is, you could make 3 of these bumpers for that price. This one is very easy to replicate (Given the proper pictures and measurements)
  15. The first thing I think I might do once I get the car, is stick that Turbo swaybar on it, which I got from Fox years ago. The Turbo swaybar is 19mm vs a Loyale swaybar which is 18mm. The XT6 swaybar is a 20mm, If I were to run an XT6 front swaybar, I would probably run an 16mm RX rear swaybar. I will have to look at the one that is on it, and see if in fact it is a 18 or 19mm swaybar. Oh, and the very next thing will be to remove this hideous bumper...!
  16. You could always make a small strut spacer, Maybe a 1" to give it just a little more clearance. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=128665
  17. Just so you know, this car/bumper doesn't have the Hella lights and blinkers on it anymore. Guess the MI dude took them off when he was trying to sell the bumper. Bummer. The main thing I don't like about the bumper is the big gaping hole (Where the lights used to be) and the point that it doesn't stick out very far. I suppose it gives a better approach angle, but with the stock rear bumper, you are still loosing the descent angle. I would prefer this bumper more of a box style with brushguard and D-rings.
  18. The two switches by the shifter are for the off road lights, The oval one is for the lights on top and the square one is for the bumper lights. The wires might have popped off when I removed the panels to remove the CB (I tossed in an EA82 cubby in place of it lol) The HIDs might be up a tad high, but they do cover "EVERYTHING" other people hate them, but they do wonders out in the boonies. There is half bottle of ATF in the back, and some 10w-40 oil I use. I'm glad it drives better then the GL. The brakes had new rotors and pads (Right before we did the Chicago run for that XT6) New O2 sensors, Starter, and whatever else I did to the motor. You might get a Check engine light sooner or later, but its only a P0420 Cat code (Because of the header)
  19. Funniest Subaru sale ad. Craiglist. http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/cto/2846822866.html
  20. I bought a EMPI for my EA82 once, it only had some assembly oil in the CVJ! Talk about quality control sleeping on the job. My other EMPI was good
