My '92 Landcruiser: Safariwagon-II
TheLoyale replied to TheLoyale's topic in Non Soob Cars and Bikes Discussion
I put an SVX Cig lighter in the 80 today. Fits real nice, and works! -
Mine still had them, and I hit them hard a few times (Scott remembers me wheeling up his neighbors steps) haha! Airbags should be outlawed.
-
Anyone know if an EJ radiator will fit in an EA82? I am not a fan of the "Hose in a Hose" trick. Plus will an EA82 rad cool an EJ motor properly? Less capacity?
-
Fox, did you find the CarFax on the dash? Kinda interesting the car was sold 1/1/1995 (Newyears day)
-
Scott, via Highway, but its like a straight shot on I90. So I am guessing the state of WI is pretty close to 500 miles corner to corner (SE to NW)
-
Hell, the gauge in my Loyale sit right at the first line when at running temp. Time for a new CTS!
-
I don't think it is a cooling issue at all. Remember, this car has a Digi dash, so from what I remember when it had the EA82T, the gauge was always a little hotter then the Analog version. The Motor is a First gen EJ22 with an OBD-II intake on it, so we shouldn't have any HG issues with this motor. Guess I'll just have to look at everything when I'm up there Never thought I would travel out of state to get a Subaru. FYI time, from the Corner of Kenosha, to the corner of Duluth/Superior, the state of WI is 493 miles across.

Fox, also. TW10 has a new Starter in it. I replaced it when I pulled the trans *I mean pants*
-
I like watching the white lines pass from under me on the freeway, makes me feel safe *Cough* (Plus I never need to stop and take a piss) Yeah, I am gonna drive it back. I am not gonna buy a Tow dolly at the moment, and I am not gonna put Jons clutch under that stress, and I am not paying for gas for a 1500 Ram 360 5.9L. Although, a 2500 Ram with the 360 and is 7,000lbs still gets better fuel milage then an 80-Series (Gotta love Straight-6s with a 25gal tank) Doh!
-
The only thing I like about the car is, it is a clean EA82. I am not really a fan of it being EJ. The EA82T would have been cool. (People give up on them to easy) I really can't see how you can blow a HG using it as a DD?
-
What is with you an '96s? Do you like emissions or something? :-p To bad I don't really have any extra parts. I do have an axle which is good. The CV end is good, and if I stick on a good DOJ it will be a working axle you can have. Save your self $60. We'll see what I get with that GL, some of it might be of use to you.

Turns out, my '92 is going to have an older sibling. A 1987 GL-10 EJ22 swapped 5spd wagon from Duluth MN.

Dude could make bank with a $500 car, and $500 worth of parts. Dude would be looking to sell out of the Brighton once this car is running/driving.

Buckets, at that! You have a coffee can of dimes!

Fox, sure. I can't change the title (Feature went away) but I'll ask Mick. I wanted to change the title some time ago. MilesFox is now in ownership of Trashwagon10
-
