Yeah, the west coast is your best bet, although, a few clean ones pop up on craigslist around the mid-west/east coast time to time. Good luck and happy hunting!

I think I will stand by that too, (Should have listened to Dad again lol) Only thing these RS5000s have are, 10 proportioning Valves so it stiffens up on rough roads, but there still isn't anything pushing the tire to the ground besides the spring, I just don't get why the RS5000 has been the leader in the offroad shock market since 1985 (Baffled) :-\ -

So, I got the rear shocks in today (Rancho RS5000) and I am VERY displeased with them, They are not Gas charged, so they basically do nothing other then cushion the ride, they don't push the wheel to the ground (Which is what you'd want to improve handling) Plus they are 1/2" shorter then the stock Gabriel shocks which ARE Gas charged. My plan now, is to purchase all 4 shocks, but in Monroe Magnum-Charged (Which is a Gas charged shock) and at a cheeper price. On the positive, I did replace the rear marker lights, with ones I found at the Flying-Js truck stop. These are about the same sign and style, except they are LED and look much better. Almost looks stock! -
Is this really a '92 Loyale, or is it older?

Probably a type-o, but if someone wanted to swap vins onto a cleaner (Possibly older) shell, all they need is the dash bezel and the door jam plate (Thats it) no one would be the wiser. -

Looks to be an '85 to '86 GL with that honeycomb grill and interior color. All Loyales will be SPFI not Carb'ed. That rear wiper is also up side down :-p -

That would be kind of you, tell him thanks! Well, I went to a Pilot/Flying-J's truckstop in search of some new side markers, found a nice set that will look BOSS on the Toyota! I just need to tap into thr 12V and ground it out and she'll be good to go. LEDs FTW. -

I would LOVE to do something like this with the Landcruiser! I originally wanted to do this with the Loyale, but I think I got the look I wanted outta that car. -

KM2s are a Mud-Terrain tire made by BFGoodrich which replaced the original KM-Mud Terrains. Thanks for the link! Will check out. -
Ah, those would be cool (They are also 16" IIRC)
-
Yes. GT wheels. These were used on the Turbo Sedans and Wagons of the First gen Legacy.
-
You have the GT style wheel, meh? Yeah gloss black would look cool (Metal flake black even cooler!)
-
Looks real nice now! That color needs more depth (Sorry Subaru, but it does) Like this.
-
Agreed, you don't want it too stiff so it doesn't move (That torque has to go somewhere) it would be like having solid motor mounts Lol!
-
It adds class Jon, I now have a newer rear hatch handle assy! Works like new now, took it off that Silver Outback down at Al's (Norm said $10)

Ya know, I got into this thinking it would be similar to a Subaru (From an engineering standpoint) in a few ways it is, but in a lot, its a completely different animal. I'm starting to really dig it, it just takes a little to get used to when working on it, its better then working on an S-10 Blazer though Your buddies truck looks great, gotta hand it off to those KM2s! One thing that I kinda dislike is, the Landcrusier forum (ih8tmud.com) isn't all that friendly, and its still hard to find little things I need for this truck (Some interior pieces) Like the winder switch bezels for the passenger doors and a fuse box dash cover. -
Well, if you can find me a complete set of rear discs for $36.60, then I'll do so You think you hated your EA82 drums, try a Toyota OMG! (Bad design for sure)
-
Whoops, broke the rear bleeders off today (Not leaking) but I am now going to replace both wheel cylinders and probably the hydraulic hose (Since that'll most likely f******* up as well) "If it isn't broke, fix it till it is"

A lot have been told that general maintenance parts for these are costly, but the truth is, parts for this rig are cheeper then most for a Subaru Legacy, no bull either! I was shocked. -

Just took the truck for a 2 hour drive (Around the Kettle Moraine Forest) and WOW, its really starting to drive nice, downshifts very smooth now and the ticking has gone away, I think this thing just needed to be driven, it was sitting a month before I bought it, and who knows how long before that, and was it a lot of city driving? I'm starting to really enjoy it now! I have new shocks coming (Rancho RS5000) for now, until I get the OME lift. I would love to get new tires before winter, so we'll see what happens with that -

That was easy. (Once I found a 54mm or 2-1/8" socket)
