  1. Personally, I don't care about other drivers. My vision is more important to me, then theirs. If the lights are to bright coming at you, then look at the white sideline to stay in your lane (As I always do when a Porsche is coming at me) I will say, spotting Deer is way better now. It lights up way beyond the road sides!
  2. I have done an HID conversion to the EA82, now I am planning on a Conversion for the Leganus aswell.
  3. If I really need to fold the seats down for a payload, I can always unbolt and unplug the Box as it has Quick connects for the wires. I also don't have an AMP.
  4. Now for pictures, poor quality pictures at that. These are only the low-beams.
  5. Rob, are those Projectors? Or am I'm seeing things? Here are mine, first night with them and OMG! They light up signs 2 blocks down, they really light up houses and white cars The pictures don't do justice, but you can get an idea, these are only the Low beams. Didn't take pictures with the Highs, I will tomorrow night.
  6. HIDs in most cases can last up to 4,500 hours Vs. A normal halogen bulb which uses a filament which can burn out in as little as 200 hours. HID bulbs are gas filled capsules that are rated for a lifespan of nearly 4,500 hours. HID bulbs also shine much brighter due to this technology. Mine are true HIDs, 6000k are the best, any more Kelvens then that and its pointless (Higher the Kelvens, the more blue they are, 15,000k to 30,000k turns Purple) I have a 35w system Vs. the 65w. Which is why mine are a tad bit blue® then I planned. If I had bought a 65w kit, 6000k would have been more of a Storm cloud gray (aka Rainy Day) color which to me, is the best color to go with. To make it short, proper HIDs do wonders with the EA82 light design. Here is an idea of what my lights look like. As I have yet to take a picture.
  7. Wired these up today! And yes, it is bolted to the seat, and Does move with it! Sounds great, and well balanced.
  8. HIDs, in. Blinding bright! People will regret being in front of me, and so will the deer
  9. Going to do an HID conversion, 35w 6000k 9004s. Pics after their in...! I am running Silverstar Ultras right now, the best bulbs I have ever had!
  10. I read on DI, Left you a reply too. Cheer up now
  11. Always, most of us are like a big family. Welcome aboard! Cheers! -Tom
  12. A Resonator is what will give you the depth in growl. Longer the better, 18" length is common. It will also eliminate that raspy noise at higher RPMs.
  13. Look closely at this photo, on the right you can spot Trashwagon5 (EA81 bodied EA82 powered)
  14. Does it not engage? Check the connection to the cruise computer if you haven't already. Maybe I missed something, but a '93 Loyale with factory cruise? Must be the dealer add-on.
  15. I think you passed on your "Sickness" to me today, I almost died swapping headlight housings around on the Dodge today in the Hot F*ckin' 105* sun. Got them in though! Looks super nice now, Now maybe my Dad can see at night when driving lol....
  16. I aways find it fun when I drive the Legacy for a few weeks straight, then drive the EA82, The Loyale feels like a "New" car compared to the Legacy, its almost a relef to drive the EA82 1781cc's of Fury!
  17. Either way, lets not forget what this thread is about. Its about Crystal's '93 Loyale and her adventrue with it! "Subaru does not promote Drinking and Driving" KInda ironic that some race vehicles have Alcohol Sponsors
  18. Dodge boy... Chevy boy FTW!! Plus if I recall, the vehicle that got you to and from Michigan was a *Clears throat* 360 Dodge
  19. Gonna keep my Fingers and Legs crossed (To be a proper lady) for you and hope it works out!
  20. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ALMOST went CRAZY! Didn't I tell you in a PM a while ago to just swap out the MAF with another you have laying around...? *Cough*
  21. You know, even though it's not my problem, it is gonna drive me crazy until I get an answer/cause. Because I don't know what it is and am now seeking knowledge. If I was there I would have tried a list of things I think of and go from there, you do have enough extra parts to interchange from. Damn, now i with you weren't so far away, I could probably have that thing fixed a few hours or at least narrow it down to what it is. Gonna log off USMB and go crazy searching for an answer on this now
  22. Wiring huh, Kinda strange it took this long for throw a CEL. Do you have another ECU you can swap in there from one of the other Legacys? Maybe the ECU is just getting old? Its not controling engine managment correctly and doesn't show a CEL right away. Hmmm....
  23. Hmmmmm? Don't you mean "Mmmmm"? Yeah, I would need a Co-driver *Cough, cough* Want to go on a 1600 mile roadtrip with me in the Safariwagon?
