  1. JoAnne, I'll take you up on that! That filter looks *Cough* fine... Just watch you don't hydro-lock your engine with all that water.
  2. Speaking of Vodka, I agree the Watermelon thing sounds good, Better then a Screwdriver. No one seems to agree Coke and Vodka work good together (At least they do to me) lol. JoAnne, next time I'm up der, we must break out some Walker!
  3. As the Safariwagon thread closes to an end, the next step is to keep the car clean and not drive it to much in winter due to salt.
  4. Ironicly, I wouldn't know. I live in the "Cheese" sate, but don't eat cheese. Now if WI made Vodka, I'd be all over that... Sorry for jacking the thread :-p
  5. Its ok Crystal, Ben is from Iowa, they are all blind out there Poking you in the side there Ben
  6. Nothing like a little "Nip/Tuck" on the old Subaru, Sadly, I think she gained some weight from all the new nuts and bolts So what is the next course of action at this point?
  7. This is why I brought up "Regulators" in my PM. Wonder if one if stuck? I think there is two on the EJ. You know, those little aluminum colored diaphragm looking things.
  8. At least you have an EJ FSM Yeah its gonna be the same down here (If not worse) just take it easy which I'm sure you will.
  9. JoAnne, so since you pretty much narrowed it down to a Fuel delivery issue (Yes I should have just replied to your PM lol) Whats the filter like? I wonder, do these Subarus use a presureized fuel system like the GMs? "Won't run without the gas cap" Maybe that only applies to OBD-II systems (Our '99 Blazer had that setup) Just a random thought.
  10. Cause apparently only a few Individuals care enough to try to help. I would totally be over there in a heartbeat if you wern't 4 hours away (As I told you in PM)
  11. Toyota Hilux, The Hilux name was used until the early '90s IIRC, until the T100 name came out along with the Tacoma and Tundra. Hilux is still used in the Japan market though
  12. +1 to that! No problem, thats what this place is for Take care! -Tom
  13. Speaking of which, (And really, what you just said has nothing to do with what I'm gonna say Lol) Anyhoo, I should make the trip up to you guys again, I had a good time last, and you guys are pretty fun. See ya'll around!
  14. 30min for 24 images! Are you using a 24-Baud modem?
  15. If its a wagon, open the rear gate, and then lift up that little "Smugglers hatch" in the floor, you will see 4 rubber plugs (2 per side) there is a 14mm bolt behind each of those plugs. Remove them, and the entire bumper will pull aay from the car. If its a Sedan, you will need to pop off the interior inside the trunk, then you will see the 4 14mm nuts which hold it onto the rear roll pan. -Tom
  16. I was gonna figure the same as what GD said, figured I'd bring it up and see whats what. I find it hard to believe that the front sensor is now "Bad" as it threw this code right after I put on the UEL Header about this time last year. As I've heard from everyone who runs an aftermarket header, this code is the common problem with running an aftermarket header. So as far as spacing goes, you are only supposed to space the rear sensor out? Also, are the front and rear sensors the same on this? I know on some other vehicles, they use two different styles (Along with connectors) Thanks for the links there Brus.
  17. So, After installing an UEL Header on the Duel-Port EJ22, It throws a P0430 (Catalyst Efficiency) code, Which is normal from doing this mod. My question is, Can you put a proper resistance resistor in between the O2 sesnor and the engine harness to trick the ECU in thinking the sensor is reading correctly? As this thing runs pretty rich (Burns your eyes and nose) and I think its hurting the performence throughout the power band. I have heard of spacing the O2 sensor back using "Spark-plug foulers" but you need to drill them out in order to work, and its a pretty hard compound. So, what options are there to make the ECU think its reading the exhaust gases right so it'll adjust the Air/fuel ratio correctly. I am also getting 18mpg which is a sure sign its running to rich. Thoughts...? -Tom
  18. Sorry to throw everyone for a loop, Nothing has happend to the car (Thank god!) I'm talking about a person which I miss very much (The best thing is my life) and am hoping I can see again soon.
  19. Agreed 100%. I would swap an EZ36 Turbo in place of a 383 or what ever GM has to offer Hehe!!
  20. This is such a great song, says what I'm feeling... Lyrics are simple yet powerful. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hg2Q3pXsmqk
  21. Don't be hatin' on the old Chevys now, We drove a $900 '79 Blazer all the way to Nebraska as is with original tires lol. One thing I will say, out of all the GM trucks we had, Non of them blew oil. 350s and 305s FTW. Like they used to do back in the day, Take a GM heart and stick it in a Ford body, you had a winning combo, Ford used seemless Beds which didn't rust as easy, and the 350, well, was a 350!
  22. Little hard to think of stuff to do when your stressed to the point of tears and feel lost and lonely cause the best thing in my life was taken away from me, because it was all my fault. I cleaned the windows today, if that adds to the thread at all...
