  1. If its a wagon, open the rear gate, and then lift up that little "Smugglers hatch" in the floor, you will see 4 rubber plugs (2 per side) there is a 14mm bolt behind each of those plugs. Remove them, and the entire bumper will pull aay from the car. If its a Sedan, you will need to pop off the interior inside the trunk, then you will see the 4 14mm nuts which hold it onto the rear roll pan. -Tom
  2. I was gonna figure the same as what GD said, figured I'd bring it up and see whats what. I find it hard to believe that the front sensor is now "Bad" as it threw this code right after I put on the UEL Header about this time last year. As I've heard from everyone who runs an aftermarket header, this code is the common problem with running an aftermarket header. So as far as spacing goes, you are only supposed to space the rear sensor out? Also, are the front and rear sensors the same on this? I know on some other vehicles, they use two different styles (Along with connectors) Thanks for the links there Brus.
  3. So, After installing an UEL Header on the Duel-Port EJ22, It throws a P0430 (Catalyst Efficiency) code, Which is normal from doing this mod. My question is, Can you put a proper resistance resistor in between the O2 sesnor and the engine harness to trick the ECU in thinking the sensor is reading correctly? As this thing runs pretty rich (Burns your eyes and nose) and I think its hurting the performence throughout the power band. I have heard of spacing the O2 sensor back using "Spark-plug foulers" but you need to drill them out in order to work, and its a pretty hard compound. So, what options are there to make the ECU think its reading the exhaust gases right so it'll adjust the Air/fuel ratio correctly. I am also getting 18mpg which is a sure sign its running to rich. Thoughts...? -Tom
  4. Sorry to throw everyone for a loop, Nothing has happend to the car (Thank god!) I'm talking about a person which I miss very much (The best thing is my life) and am hoping I can see again soon.
  5. Agreed 100%. I would swap an EZ36 Turbo in place of a 383 or what ever GM has to offer Hehe!!
  6. This is such a great song, says what I'm feeling... Lyrics are simple yet powerful. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hg2Q3pXsmqk
  7. Don't be hatin' on the old Chevys now, We drove a $900 '79 Blazer all the way to Nebraska as is with original tires lol. One thing I will say, out of all the GM trucks we had, Non of them blew oil. 350s and 305s FTW. Like they used to do back in the day, Take a GM heart and stick it in a Ford body, you had a winning combo, Ford used seemless Beds which didn't rust as easy, and the 350, well, was a 350!
  8. Little hard to think of stuff to do when your stressed to the point of tears and feel lost and lonely cause the best thing in my life was taken away from me, because it was all my fault. I cleaned the windows today, if that adds to the thread at all...
  9. Oh really! Did not know that. Thanks.
  10. As long as the stud is a 12x1.25 it will work.
  11. Gonna post this in my thread cause its awesome!

  14. Well, my TW10 thread has gone WAY off topic and has remained on here and has always gotten back on track. We will clean it up somewhat to not offend anyone
  15. Admin: This is all for fun and games, don't take it to seriously
  16. Yeah, well, in that case. I have a few more inches then JoAnne And now this thread will get shutdown cause this IS the USMB and not DI
  17. JoAnne, you know something, if I really had that extra money, I would love to buy that Ford. Its super clean and I'd like to own a old full-size pickup sometime (Cause thats what I grew up with) 60s to the 80s is when Trucks were trucks, and not family vehicles. I also dig the green and white colors, fits perfect! Hope it goes to someone who will really truly enjoy that rig!
  18. I know your teasing, and so am I lol! Its all in good fun.
  19. Oh yeah! This reminds me. Tell your big dude friend (who used a locking pliers on it the first time) that a 20 y.o broke it loose with the same locking pliers with a different method and didn't damage it (Unlike him) Make sure you rub it in too LOL!
  20. Right on and thank you! Gotta give props to the old Volvo wagons, they have enough power and space to get stuff done! Love the arm chair on top, wheres Granny..?
  21. LOL! I sent you the Panda sticker too!
  22. yes they will. But you will need the caliper bracket to do this. Also, if you are running 14" wheels, the rotor or the Caliper will hit.
  23. Lol! Oh my gawd! You weren't joking Glad you got it somewhat fixed.
