  1. Here is some video of what has gone on with the 3-door. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVuMGobzrSA
  2. If you call passing a riced out eclipse on the shoulder of the road (Mud/snow/dirt) testing them out, then yes. I think dude was shocked I passed him driving off the road This dude had to keep stopping to a crawl other wise he would wreck his bumper.
  3. '92 Loyale 3AT 4WD: 2" SJR Lift 27" Bighorns Roof rack and offroad goodies! '95 Outback 4EAT AWD. Outback KYBs Forester Springs First gen GT wheels
  4. Looking awesome! That trailing arm is coated so thick it will never rust! I will give you your Flip back saturday.
  5. I dunno if they have a shop by you or not, and I dunno if they ship. They do have a few locations listed on their site, so, best of luck!
  6. So whats gonna be your next move for a Subaru? Theres a 360 out here in WI for $1800, maybe you can get into that
  7. Been there... I'm surprised the passenger side airbag went off, the driver side corner is what took the hit and thats right where the SRS sensor is, I dunno if when one triggers, it deploys both airbags or not?
  8. I think this thread should change into the "Subaru Alliance" thread. Scott/Fox/Graham Post whats going on with your stuff in here if you want.
  9. Silver Fox if its a Sedan or 3-door. Trashbrat would work. Maybe you can think of something a little more original
  10. Wow, looks nice. Did you get the Gloss or Semi-gloss POR? As for oil, I think hydraulic oil would work and hold up well.
  11. OH THAT BOX! I always thought there was a filter in there (Double filter WTF lol) Ok, I know what we're talking about now. So thats supposed to keep extra air so in the event of hard take off the engine will have something ASAP, hmmmm.
  12. I know the part your talking about, looks like a plastic dildo and is part of the air intake. From what I know, only the 2.5s had that? Every Legacy with 2.2 at the Junkyard have the same air box as yours and mine. So thats what that thing is for eh.. Never knew that. As for take off, I guess thats another reason for a M/T, you can hold the RPMs up a little (1500rpm) and then hit it hard, rather then going from 600rpm to 3/4 throttle.
  13. Yea I have done that same thing, I used a wood block since that all I had. Not to point out the obvious, but you did take off the Castle nut first? Cheers and let us know how it goes, -Tom
  14. What I'm going to do is, since I removed the in-fender air box, I am gonna run PVC from the air filter box and then out into the engine bay (Where it normally comes out)
  15. I didn't know they made such a thing. Cool!
  16. I still have both cats, but run an UEL header. I just removed the air box resonator. I took it apart and thought there was more to it lol. Not what I was expecting. I have the stock air box. How would you run a cone filter on there anyway? How would the MAF flange bolt up?
  17. There is no wiring for the Maplight stuffed in the roof, it would run under the dash, up the A-pillar and over to the roof. Thats why I tapped into the 12v power from the dome light. You will only find two tapped holes for the Maplight mounting screws.
  18. What is the gain in hollowing out the air intake box? Is it less restrictive, giving the engine better response? I notice sometimes when I stand on it, it'll pause for a second and slowly rev up. Is this from the air box? I might hollow it out and see what its like then.
  19. The 2nd one is for the 4WD. At least on a push botton 4WD car, but that only applies for the SPFI N/A EA82 (Not the EA82 Turbo)
  20. Depends some manufactures are hard to retro fit other stuff to. Subarus are very easy to do with them what you will. Its fun!
  21. Thats the one thing thats great about Subarus, if you didn't get a factory option, put on in! Its all plug'N play!
