  1. Swapped fuel gauges around tonight in my Legacy, and still no read out. I guess the sending unit is crap, anyone know if it is removable from the pump?
  2. Welcome to USMB from SE WI!

  3. You can also get SJR wheel adaptors to run VW 5x205 wheels on the 4x140 hubs. I got a set for free from a buddy. You would be welcome to them if you would pay shipping.

  4. Well you will have to change the wheel from the stock 13" to a 14" or 15" as there is just nothing for tires in the 13" size anymore. You can get a set of peugeot wheels on here or redrill some Chevy or Nissan 6-lug wheels. The Peugeot wheels are 4x140 Just like the Subarus, Chevy/Nissan 6-lugs have two lug holes that will line up, but you will have to drill out the other two holes.

As for largest tire size you can run with out of Lift kit, you can run 26" tires, anything bigger and you will have to trim or roll the lips on your fenders to provide enough clearance. The stock tire size for the 13"s is about 23".

You can, do a lift kit. SJR makes them, 2" kit is about $300. "The beast I drive" Bill olmin makes lift kits too and is a lot cheeper. I have an SJR kit, and really for what you get, its not worth the cost. Bill's kits are of the same standard and cheeper. "One eye" Jeff, might be able to get you a lift kit as well. Just some options for you.

    Hope this helps!

  5. I'ma make $20 off you :-p

I gotta psych you out lol...

  6. Jon,

Double or nothing the packers don't win the super bowl!

  7. No, thats just the AT&T garage. I'm not allow to use it, although, I could if I get there late enough (After 10pm) and no one would know.
  8. This thread is pointless without pictures!
  9. Tom, I have seen that stuff on "Trucks" or some garage tv show. Or at least something 100% the same as that. Might be worth looking into. Thanks!
  10. Fox, don't give up like that. I would pull some of the interior to get at as much rust as possible. I have pulled the rear interior out of my Wagon to do the wheel well tops. Just be gental and all will be well. If you do want a safe place to store the interior parts, I would be more then willing to take them home and set them in my basement until you'd need them. God knows I have lots'O room. I also have a few random EA82 clips, so if you need some let me know.
  11. The header did have a bung hole, but with the UEL the exhaust gases are different, leader to the sensor reading incorrectly. The way to fix this is to space the sensor back about 1/2" so it doesn't read as strongly. There aren't gonna be any CELs that'll pop up without me knowing by how its running.
  12. Yea mine puts out a bit more torque being an Auto. I think I could get up to 100mph a little quicker if I didn't have the lights and the lift on it.
  13. Thats pretty cool! First time I have seen that. Thanks for opening the thread! -Tom
  14. Yeah the Fuel gauge doesn't work, Not sure if its the gauge or the sending unit. The CEL is from the UEL Header, its an O2 sensor code.
  15. Really, the car is not out of breather at 100mph/4000rpm. I can still go more, but didn't want to push it harder with an old leaking waterpump and timing belt with 200k tensioners. Maybe you should ungrade to an UEL header, seems to give you move pull at higher speeds. Is yours duel-port EJ22?
  16. lol, the Fuel gauge doesn't work. Hoping its just the gauge and not the sending unit. Cheers!
