  1. Off to Ben Franklin Crafts I go! Thanks -Tom
  2. Where can you by the transparent tracing paper anymore? Or are you guys using something else? Still takes a little talent to trace a picture. Both drawings look good!
  3. The Roof rack is made by Surco "Surco Safari Basket" EverythingSUV.com has it.

The Bumper was made by Scott "SJR" SJRLift.com

  4. It looks so big in the picture (Thats what she said) but really, those look great! I have Luminics JDM Yellow in mine which don't look as bright..
  5. How did you install such a large lamp in the stock Legacy bumper? The opening isn't that big. Looks good though!
  6. Looks good, same rack I have (Surco) Are you running Forester springs or something? Looks good
  7. I will do the orange grille slats and might paint it white, I have to repaint the grille anyway cause its chipping of (Was chrome and I just painted over it without scuffing it up) I should get all the paint/supplys and you can help me Lol! I'll con you into painting this car like I con'ed Desmond with moving those boxes :-p JOHN, This car isn't really nice enough not to paint it up - it has some rust that I would want to paint so I might aswell just paint the entire vehicle.
  8. You would be better of going with this. http://paint-and-supplies.hardwarestore.com/50-278-rust-removers-strippers/rust-oleum-rust-reformer-266080.aspx
  9. What I did today, Painting of Trashwagon10 has begain
  10. A Subaru owner without a 10mm wrench! C'mon, you can take apart an entire Soob with a 10mm wrench :-p
  11. Well I'm thinking you should be able to get a box wrench in there and then just break the torque on it, then you should be able to remove the screw with your fingers. I forgot if you can get that high up in the dash from going under the dash. Tip in case of: Removing the Glove box does nothing for you. I've done that already for the hell of it Lol!
  12. There is one 10mm bolt holding the housing which I guess it clips to. At least from I remember seeing. It could just be getting sticky and a few taps fixed it for now. I almost cracked the vent frame when I took it out, (Got lucky) Good luck to ya!
  13. Thank you, thats what I figured. Forester springs it is then. Right now this thing is as bouncie and loose as a Cadillac riding on a pogo stick. "200,000 miles on these strut, I wouldn't blame them"
  14. Yep yep, My ************ was burning up in like 5 min.. Yeah I'll pull it today and let you know.
  15. Nice Looking Sedan, Yeah I've heard about FOR giving any extra bit of lift, The FOR springs must be stiffer then the OB (Not to mention a bit taller) Well I could go with FOR springs, does anyone have a VIN from a first gen Forester? I'll need it to place an order. Also, does anyone know if there is a difference between the Legacy Top hats and the Outback tophats? Just want to make sure I can still reuse the Legacy ones. My plan was to reuse the Tophat, Top spring perch off the Legacy struts so all I'd have to buy would be struts and springs. Is the Legacy spring perch/seat the same diameter as the Outback/FOR? Thanks for looking guys! -Tom
  16. I'll battle that with 27" BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/As
  17. Heres something funny. My engine light has been off for over 100 miles, then I took my car out to a spot and flogged it through some mud and puddles - right during that the light came on. I'm guessing it is the Cat flow code again "P0420" I haven't pulled the code yet, I will do it tomorrow. Why would it come back just now 100+ miles later and pretty many redline shifts later? Why would flogging it in some mud make it throw the code again? yo Mike, I might take you up on your offer on those non-foulers if you still got them. I will be more then happy to pay you for them Trying to drill through the ones I have are a PITA! I have commercial grade bits too.
  18. Update: Painted the Alloys flat white (Engine Enamel) and repainted the rack and rails. Soon to come: Outback Struts/Springs (New) General Grabber AT2s Paint this rig up in Trashwagon colors yo. I'm gonna order the springs by Friday from Subarupartsforyou.com and then just order new KYB GR2s from Rockauto next pay period. Stay tuned and I will get some more random pictures later on this week.
  19. You can get anything on Subarupartsforyou.com Genuine parts, and pretty much every and any part you can think of. I have done the permatex trick in the past, works good enough for my taste. -Tom
  20. Yes, 3" lift and 27" tires Buy some products to detail the interior really nice.
  21. Try looking into Mazda Miata coilovers and struts.. It will lower your ride hight some. -Tom
