  1. I will have to get some footage of this thing soon, I will also get a picture of it with the Genuine filter.
  2. Removed Rack to repaint it, Still rackless as its been raining all day today..
  3. Here is a link to SJRs (Scotts) site, his stuff is kinda expensive due to him having this stuff made by CNC, He used to hand make this stuff, but demand got to much and the Legacy lifts are to complex to make by hand all the time.

But non the less, Contact Bill, his EA82 2" kit would be like $150. he'll make any size you want though. But after 2" you will need to drop the crossmembers and rear diff, plus make the steering shaft longer since the motor will be dropped about an 1" or 2" depending how big you go. Also Brake lines would need to be lengthened if you go bigger 2".

But a 2" lift with 27" tires your looking at 12" of clearance under the rear diff and about 16" under the center of the car. So yes, its pretty high :)

  4. Jacob, Yep sure did. I went to the dealer and bought a genuine Oil filter (Honeywell) and now I have a nice bit'O clearance around the filter now tricked919, Sorry to hear they were able to find you a good pipe since you lost out on a custom made pipe. But I will tell you, the UEL pipe is a good idea - it does increase power bar non, I feel it big time! Dave, yea thats true. But at least I was able to fix the Fitment issue. I was sooo please when I put the new filter on. -Tom
  5. My Subaru dealer is only 1-1/2 miles from me and they don't even know what my car is, they think its a Legacy untill I tell them, then they are like "Eh..?" Plus they can't get anything without asking for a VIN, I dunno... Some dealers are nicer then others I guess..
  6. The ends where it pops in are a little different, It might still work though from what I remember seeing. -Tom
  7. In WI, they don't test anything older then '95 (Due to them no being OBD-II compliant) BUT my car is OBD-II compliant, so its kinda funny Haha.. But anything '95 or older they don't test. Thats why I took this one instead of the '96 Fox picked up.
  8. I think its the emissions system needs to catch up and adjust, cause this new more UEL header is going to change the emissions status. Hoping it doesn't come back (I'll just pull the Engine light bulb if so LOL!)
  9. Yep, just got this today. Its the "Catalyst error code" P0420. So I erased it and we'll see what happens. I think the system needs time to adjust to the different emissions that the header is causing.
  10. Awesome pics Kevin, The background is amazing. Looks good with the teardrop trailer -Tom
  11. Speaking of Dealer, I need to go there tomorrow and get a Genuine "Honeywell" oil filter. The one on my Legacy now (Car quest WIX) hits the header pipe The Genuine ones are shorter. I'll have to get some crush rings too.
  12. Man, the pads on mine were way worse! the pad broke off of the metal plate and 2 of them were metal on metal (Stopped just fine with no noise) Untill I locked them up for fun, then a squeak started up and got louder! New pads now :-p Lights look clean!
  13. Oh KYBs! It might be a bit stiffer, I think mines lower cause the struts are getting weak (I NEED OUTBACK STRUTS YA'LL!) Oh thats a nice ('91?) Legacy
  14. Ben, huh didn't see that. I'm wonder if any pick-up/High-end gains can be had from that..? John, $215 shipped.
  15. Squeaky is one thing, but when your pullys start to sound like Skate board wheels, then its time to replace them. The Squeak could be coming from the Surpantine belt pully/tensioner. Still nothing to worry about. As long as they feel smooth (Without belt on) and don't have alot fo play you will be fine. My EA82 and the EJ22 both have a little play in the tensioners and nothing bad has happend. And I rev at 3400rpm at freeway speeds. 4100rpm if I push it up to 80mph in the EA82.
