  1. The thing about Fel-pro is, if you were to order the entire engine seal set, alot of the seals/o-rings and gaskets are made by the same company that FHI gets there stuff from. In some cases they even have the FHI logo on them. Whats funny is you can get one set of seals (Cam seals lets say) one could be of the FHI and the other could be another company. But they are all pretty much good. Yeah you do run across a bad one here and there but eh, what can ya do.
  2. Funny, those are the same tires I have on my LEgacy (BFGoodrich Premire Touring) Pics are up to you guys, Clean or Dirty which ever you prefer.
  3. I just used Rust-olium all purpose. Clean the peices with Glass cleaner to remove any oils and then paint'em. Scott, No. My dad had a '71 Dart Swinger with the Slant 6. It was Baby blue with black vinal top. Had baby moons with chrome reverse - also had air shocks.
  4. The same guy who'd try to race a lifted Loyale with a 3cyl Metro..
  5. That would get him! Oh and he closes at 5pm on weekdays.
  6. Been there and done all that, and might need to get back to get some Outback struts.. Of course I would take the EA82 out there again, since he seems to think the EA82s are dinos
  7. Well there is such a thing as a "Tokyo Auto Salon" Basically a car show for tuned cars. But Salon is in the name
  8. On a side note: It would be cool to take EJ18 heads/cams and stick them on the EJ22 for a high compression EJ22!
  9. I would like to get into a AWD '93 Impreza 1.8 EJ18 sedan sometime. I just like them for some reason, kinda a eco box, but I like it. Its cooler and quicker then a Corolla Yes, nice headlights I like the color of yours, I'd like to paint my bumpers and trim line that color on mine. (Mine has the OB paint scheme)
  10. Well just remember, even if you did take the interior apart - you can still drive it. So its not suck a big deal
  11. Both of mine are AT :-p Yeah the GR2s are my choice, KYB is pretty good with their products. The Springs should be ok, just compress them evenly and just far enough to take the pressure off the tophat (You don't need to compress them a lot) you can always hit them with some rust-olium before you reinstall them. -Tom
  12. Its ok, at least you learned on where everything is and such.
  13. Holy crap! Thats cool! Is it AT or MT? Anyhow, I wouldn't be concerned about this little fluctuation.
  14. How many miles on the car? even reman aftermarket ones should last pretty long.
  15. I have Fel-pro cam seals on the EA82 and haven't failed yet. Fel-pro is worth it, My dad has always used them on the V8s back in the day and he never had an issue. Plus these are just manifold gaskets (Not a real big deal)
  16. Well, good luck at the Stealers "Cough, cough" I mean Dealer
  17. I don't think I would worry to much about that one time fluctuation. You alt could be showing age, but probably nothing to worry about at the moment. If anything, it could be the solenoid (Which is built in) My Legacy has the Original Alternator with 207,000 on the clock. I agree with the battery terminals, check'em and clean them if needed. -Tom
  18. Nope, no fuses in there. You might just be feeling a plastic lip of something. The fuses are all under the dash on the EA82. Also, the two nuts that holds the whole assembly to the gate are 10mm. Also be carful not to over tighten the two screws that hold the small cover on - as they only screw into plastic.
  19. Hey, Welcome to the USMB. Hope you enjoy your stay here and find the knowledge your looking for when needed.

    Cheers and good luck.

Hope to see ya on the road sometime.

    -Tom

  20. Well we host meets alot (Or at least I do) MilesFox is another cat whom you are always welcome to his house. He's on the East side of Milwaukee (Close to River West area) I'm out in Waukesha and am always all over Waterford, Big bend, Muskego ect.. As for finding a GL wagon with D/R in WI that isn't rotted to hell, good luck. I have seen a few pop up from time to time on Craigs list, but not often. Also, on the 19th at Subaru City on 27th st in Milwaukee they are hosting a big Subaru meet. They start at 9am on Saturday (19th) so maybe we'll see you there -Tom
