  1. +1 to that! Big Zip-ties work great (Just pull them really tight)
  2. Why does that sound familiar? "Right Meow" Was that on Super Troopers or something?
  3. Semi-gloss or even a Matte Black will look nice Is this an '86 Wagon or Hatch?
  4. I still want that Brushguard.. Bill make me one ASAP with a boxed bumper I'll be waiting your reply :-p
  5. I used the 3M Headlight Restore Kit on my headlights today, and its awesome! Just as clear as they were in '95 Before: After hand waxing them (Only removed Oxidiation) After 3M: I also have a Cargo net coming from http://Subarupartsforyou.com Should be hear tomorrow
  6. I used the 3M headlight restore kit today and its kickass! NOT A GIMIC, this is the real deal - Just follow the instructions. BEFORE: Cheers -Tom
  7. Well anything has to ride better then the Legacy as is, Damn thing hops sideways going over bumps on a curve! Wee!!!
  8. Theres a wire kit for these!? I just hard wired it to the OE wiring, I did the same with the Lego.
  9. With the AWD you will feel a drag/bind when turning full lock (U-turn) at low speeds, one way to see if this is what you are feeling is to feed a little gas while turning, this will make the bind go away. A bad DOJ or a dry DOJ will not cause a binding feeling as its basically a u-joint that pivits up and down unlike the CVJ. So I think what you are feeling is normal. Let us know how it goes -Tom
  10. Congrats on getting a 1st gen Legacy, Much more solid car then the 2nd gen ('95-99) You should meet up with us, any questions we can answer them Ben, OMG you got the wrong idea brother. We ain't lame cause we aren't driving out to IA, Maybe later this year when/if you guys do something again -Tom
  11. Well the Outback struts are going to be a bit stiffer and more durable from what I could see (Being a SUW) plus my struts are shot, rides like a cadillac and the wheels hop off the ground Lol! I like my cars to ride like trucks
  12. Look up Scosche, they make a thicker version of the stock cover (I have one in mine)
  13. It will be on the left side (When looking at the engine bay) its a black canister with 3 vac hoses going to it. its right by the filler cap for the window washer fluid.
  14. Are there any rotted holes in the rear (Bottom of rear fenders, rear floor pan ect..) Are you running a full exhaust with muffler? If your running a straight pipe that isn't pipped out the rump roast end of the car, you will get exhaust smell pretty bad cause the fumes aren't being pushed out and away from the vehicle. -Tom
  15. Thats more crap I would need to find and buy, but I see your point. Extra knowledge and advice is always good
  16. Yea thats true on the price, I guess its not a bad price then. Well the plan for now is getting some Outback Strut assemblies (Top hats, Springs, Strut) so I can get this thing up and then sometime in the future I might do a full blown lift. So now I need to find some good used OB struts for not to much once I come into some money. WANTED: 1st gen Outback struts. -Tom
  17. So then why don't more of us import them from the West coast?
  18. $325 for Forester struts? I can get KYB GR2s for the forester for cheeper I might go with the OB struts as I'm not sure if the steering shaft will need to be longer if I go with the Foresters. I haven't done any research yet so I'm somewhat in the dark on this topic. But this stuff really isn't any different then the old gen stuff, so I'll be good I also need to fine out if the rear diff needs to be spaced down or not..? -Tom
  19. Hmm, thats an interesting link. I will have to do some searching about this. I would like to lift this thing, I also wonder if brake lines will need to be longer aswell as the steering shaft?
