  1. Well if thats the case, just get some clear all weather Silicone, pull out the rubber a little, pump some into the crevus and push the rubber back in (Wipe away exccess) -Tom
  2. Yea that was funny as hell, I think it was call "How to build a Monster subaru" or something like that. Gotta admit, if it had more thought put into it and a better way to attach it. that thing would have been unstopable (Then EJ it) -Tom
  3. Thanks for this, I wanted to see how much my speedo was off since the 26" tires. this showed me I'm 5mph over. SO if my speedo says 60mph, I'm really doing 65mph. thats cool - thank you -Tom
  4. Hmm, could the bottem of the windsheild seal be leaking and running under the dash and hitting your feet area? That or the firewall some how leaks? :-\ -Tom
  5. It does the job, its a Surco brand safari basket.

    :)

  6. Looks really good, can't even tell its a film (Nice job) Yea thats it, funny the things I remember :-p -Tom
  7. Yep, thats is! Looks awesome Haha, yea I've seen it with the wheels inside out too - I beleive your girlfriend was standing next to it once. Looks kinda funny I like how you turned the headlights amber. Somehow coated them from the inside? Looks cool though!
  8. Yes I've seen your car around on diffrent sites. Very cool EA82! I love that one pic of the 4WD slide I've seen somewhere. I also like your friends WRX swapped OB and your Lego looks nice aswell - 10k is like daylight. I have 5,500k 120/140w Luminics in my EA82. Nice pics
  9. Now now, I was not gonna use "BJ" but I figure we weren't gonna go their Lol. Its pretty easy on the EA82, I just remove everthing off the control arm - remove the control arm (Incase the BJ is stuck in it and needs to be pounded) then just put it all back together. One tip though, after you get the BJ in the Hub and are ready to put the control arm back on, put the control arm onto the Balljoint first then loosen the two bolts that hold the Crossmember on that side of of the car, this will give you the extra amount of give needed to get the bolt back into the control arm and crossmember. then reattach your radius arm and the e-brake holder and you are done. If you even need to do BJs on the EA82, let me know and I will give you a step by step detailed write up on it, on how exactly I do it. -Tom
  10. Did passenger side BJ, Wow is that thing sloppy. it handels soooo much better and tighter with two new BallJoints. -Tom
  11. Hmm good reading, I've read every post on this. Thanks guys -Tom
  12. Tom, Thank you. I think I've heard of that place before (at some point) -Tom
  13. Went to the dealer and spent $121 for two new brake discs. Will get them by Weds. -Tom
  14. Oh, well by george it still looked like a good build -Tom
  15. Wow, what progress. Nice detailed pictures too, its soooo clean. Amazing! -Tom
  16. Awesomness! (Making me want to paint mine nicely) -Tom
  17. Bill, So hows the paint holding up on the oil pan? -Tom
  18. I was thinking about useing a Bracket from a Non-A/C EA82. I dunno what that setup looks like though - so it might not work. hmmm? Thats all thats left of the A/C in my rig, I even took off that little senser thing that was infront of the pump. -Tom
  19. I would check out Maxis Bighorns (As they are awesome off road from what I hear) I am going to go with them as soon as these BFGs get used up Good luck
  20. Hmm, that'll be interesting. gonna need an adaptor for the top hat? As for Sound deadening on the EA82, there isn't much (if any lol) are you gonna remove the rear seat? as thats prolly about 75lbs. and if you have A/C, I would remove the A/C radiator and condenser (Along with the A/C lines) thats about 20lbs all together. Dunno about the pump, since the Alternater bracket bolts to the A/C pump (At least on the Hitachi pump) Good luck and keep us posted on any progress and what you find
  21. Replaced driver side Ball-Joint with a new MOOG BJ. Wish I could have did the other side (Ran out of time, getting cold) The other was pretty soft/sloppy and the rubber was completly gone (TIME FOR NEW!) -Tom
  22. Now now children - no pointing fingers as each other. -Tom
