  1. Rust hasn't come up yet, the fenders where new in 2006. But when I painted them the first time, a few months later it was spidering/cracking, and getting little bumps on it that would chip off. I think cause I didn't sand the primer. So I need to paint these before they do rust. Anyhoo, it varys, sometimes in late Oct.

  2. I like the soft green lights. Soothing! Awesome, I'll hit 200,000 in 94,000 miles! 106,013 right now ('92 EA82 wagon) Best'O Luck -Tom
  3. Hey Eric, Well my dad welded the crack the best he could (Just kept balling up) but he managed to melt those balls into solid chunks. it seem soild and theres no more leak. so we'll see if it lasts the winter (I think it will) tried Brazing it first, didn't stick. I really need to convert my Lincoln to a Mig. Now I just need to paint my fenders and maybe mount the muffler before the snow flys. more worried about the fenders. Aaa always something huh, :D

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

    -Tom :)

  4. AA lift kit huh, havn't heard of them yet, Looks good though. Oh yes, I've seen that brushguard before. just like the plow kits that were made for the EA81s back in the day, btw. those where made by a industry right here in WI!

    -Tom :)

  5. What else you can do is, run it thru the Brake booster hose, let it suck about 1/2 can then shut the car off. let it sit for a few minutes then fire it up again. it'll eat any build up thats in your air ports/hoses. worked good for me. I havn't added it to the oil yet, Might someday. I don't really have a lifter tick (I do have some noise though, I think its a rocker arm with some play in it or maybe a valve) Dunno. I can hear it more clear under the engine. Anyhoo, yes I like Seafoam. Good stuff! -Tom
  6. Asphalt, thats where I've seen those. That sucks when you have to transfer asphalt that hasn't been laid yet (you only have so much time to get it there and laid before it gets too cool and useless) I was watching stuff about that on the Discovery Ch. but not all times are like that, I know. most times theres a machine that holds and lays the asphalt and keeps it hot untill its needed.

Thanks for the bit of info about it, didn't know that. :)

  7. Aaa I see, For gravel or something? Doesn't look like a standard dump truck.

Do you need a CDL to drive that?

  8. Aaa, I see. for gravel?

do you need a CDL to drive that?

  9. Rob, ohhhh! I see. hey thats a good idea. I thought you were gonna stick that on top of ur hood Lol! Looks great, -Tom
  10. Blow punks away with a family car! Lol

Yes it did stink (Mom was laughing) But it went away after some time. Anyhoo, my dad welded my ppe back together. So I think its solid. I don't feel any leaks and it sounds better.

Agreed, I hate working on crap in the winter. like -10 with WC lol. Thats why I do what I have to do during the summer. I'm get streesed when I don't get alot done and know I'm running out of time.

But I feel better now :)

    -Tom

  11. I know, but can't.. eh, theres always next year Well I'll sleep in the car, aslong as I can raid your frige when I get up LMAO!! -Tom
  12. Ooo Non-Interference! Port and Polish costs some bucks, but its worth it if your gonna race it.

JB Weld started burning off before the engine was even at running temp. so the alloy tape would just melt (Used it on stuff in the past) I mean that down-has to get close to 1000Deg F when running at 3200RPMs. plus I want to fix it right now, so I don't have to wongleflute with it in winter lol.

    -Tom

  13. What type of truck do you drive Box truck or tractor trailer? Do you have your ragular rig, or is it a new truck everytime?

I like Flatface box trucks IVECO, RENAULT, NISSAN, ISUZU ect. (Don't ask why lol) (can if ya want)

    -Tom

  14. Two words "Insane" well one word, two sylables Hehe! -Tom
  15. I'd love to come out to IA in Oct. but I got to much to do before winter comes. I still need to paint my fenders, I have to fix my exhaust, and who knows what else may come up.. Anyhoo, Weekends are a good thing, cause I would leave on a friday after work and drive right to Des Moines, and meet with someone (ask if i can sleep in my car in their Driveway hehe) -Tom PS: I'm always up for B-class roads and service roads!!
  16. Brand new mid-pipe from the dealership, even comes with a full heat sheild now days (Says Subaru on it Hehe) total was like $280 IIRC. plus, it gave the car better pick-up/response and it brang out the deep rumble way more then the cheep replacemet someone used.. Looks like I'm gonna need a new down-pipe/cat section soon. Next year I'm hoping. Cause the passenger side down-pipe cracked off and away from the cat. So I have to braze it this weekend. Its pretty loud and kinda sounds like crap (To much air sound) Still will always sound better then a ricer! My mom likes how it sounds now (Badass) LOL. -Tom
  17. There thats what I was thinking you were going with, so whats with the huge sheet metel box in that one pic? Looks great Rob! Tommy likie!
  18. Oh so its for the shift points, ok. I was wrong. thanks for the correction Learning something new everyday! -Tom
  19. Haha yep, unmissable!

I do agree theres alot of body roll on my wagon, but shes not a speed demon anyhow (unlike Dave and Numbchux wagons) But I suppose new struts/coil overs would help. the wheel is planted pretty good, I don't feel/see any hopping, now bad for 18 year old shocks. So the Legacy has body roll issues too, eh, a little is good (Too much is bad lol) I wish I could get/drive another old gen Roo (non out here, other then very few EA82s, like 4 so far I've seen)

Hell if you gonna go with STi suspension componets, why not change some out to the SPT parts aswell :D !! Might aswell add two turbos too! whats your lego have? EJ20? Well tomorrow I need to braze my passenger side down-pipe back onto my cat, it like cracked off! So it sounds diffrent (Not a bad sound) but I would prefer to seal that up and add my Turbo muffler. I tryed some JB Weld today so I could drive it, it lasted for a little and it still sealed its still holding. I'm supprized.

    -Tom(orroing) :-p

  20. No, ATF has no weight specs. Best of luck with your repairs! -Tom
  21. Ben, YES big time!! That's why I replaced my mid-pipe. I was so tired of hearing it at stop lights lol. -Tom
  22. OMG!! Those are cooool. they have system for anything, ever an Econoline LOL. Those are gonna rock.

Yea the '89-'94 Legos look good lifted, I prefer the wagons though, like Scotts blue sedan, it just looks odd, Tires are way to big.

Yea I know what you mean, Mine rides stiff and somewhat hard, like a truck (Hella yea!) Its pretty comphie, I can got joy riding for 4 hours stright and my rump roast/legs doesn't hurt lol

    -Tom

  23. The reason Yeild is better then Deep Creep, is cause its for Commercial/Industrial use. Not like you can pick it up at a parts house. Sorry for all the chit chat. -Tom
  24. No biggie on the picture, whenever :) I was thinking I may need to use a small peice between the two.

Lucky! I wouldn't need to play with them if someone didn't let the y-pipe rust sooo much (People huh)

    Thanks Eric.
