  1. Hmm, that'll an idea. Dunno if it has enough pressure though? I though most that size only run like 50psi? Anyhoo hope ya find one, I see them all day at the AT&T buildings I go to. -Tom
  2. Hmm, I'd like to get that 15 Lb. Portable Soda Blaster for $99.99! I think that should get the job done. I need to go to Harbor again soon! -Tom
  3. Gary, he is a picture on how I mounted the rear shocks. Bolted the plates to the stock bolt holes and then bolted the shocks to the lower holes on that plate, give the 2" lift.. Unless I'm just not understanding your question Lol. Please explain if I am not getting it Thanks again Gary! -Tom
  4. Oh yes, thank you. Hmm wonder which snorkel they used on that one? Also wonder why they put it on the drivers side? Yeah ABS isn't gonna form to good plus it won't be as strong (Like you said) -Tom
  5. Gary, thank you. yes it is amazing how much better it looks! I'm very pleased. Anyhoo, on the rear sturt qusetion. I don't understand what you mean, how could you install the shocks on top of the rear brackets? That would be just mounting the struts into their stock location. I'll get a picture real quick and post it and maybe it'll answer your qusetion. Sorry I couldn't be of more help at the moment. -Tom
  6. I'd say a few days in the sun will cure it nice and well. How much PSI are you gonna use? 2500? Once it dries it prolly nt gonna come off. Have fun! -Tom
  7. I knew Scott and AA make tube bumpers, but I'm talking about that kind that still has the stock shape but has a brushguard welded to it, I'll see about getting a picture Thanks -Tom
  8. Glad to hear of your find! The sound you are hearing is nomal, I wouldn't worrie about it, the pumps are always loud on these EA82 cars (You'll hear it pretty clear in the cab) does the hum pulse when you have the blinker on (power draw) As for cutting fenders, I used a air cut-off tool for a clean line, and it worked quick. most people will say air tool. And no, taking off the doors won't weakin the uni-body. you are thinking of just un-bolting the hinges from the door jam right? I've seen someone take round bar an make half doors out of them for a rugged off-road look. -Tom
  9. Hey, there are some (offroad) I guess pictures in my thread now :)

Even was flexing on a x-track tie. later

  10. Rob, Hahahaahehe!!! That makes me laugh, nice one
  11. Yes I would like to see a Subaru a the moon LMAO!
  12. Why not just show your wagon offroading on the moon while we're at it? Photo chop! Lol -Tom
  13. Right, radiator support. Just seemed like a weak spot, but then again, try to avoid hitting stuff lol. SubaruTex, so you were only going with 3 axles! And its still made it up, thats cool! -Tom
  14. So I've been seeing this white ('04?) WRX at a parking lot by Bestbuy on HWY Bluemound. I parked next to it a few times, I think the owner works in one of the stores around the area. Just was wondering if anyone knows who owns it and if they are on here. It doesn't have a rear wing, it does have a site/club address on the front window. Forgot what it was (Think it was a WRX only site) Anyhoo, any other new gen owners on here that are in lower WI? -Tom
  15. Welcome to USMB!

  16. Only thing I don't understand about the stock skid plate is, well ok. the rear bolts to the crossmember (Good) but the front bolts to the bottom of the fairing/smile peice. Now that won't take a hit, unlike the crossmember. Just seemed like the wrong place to mount it thats all. -Tom
  17. Nice, I like this wagon (didn't think it was ever took on trails) How did it go up the rocks? -Tom
  18. btw, Scott. if you ever see any pictures of my wagon that you want to use for something, go right ahead. doesn't bother me -Tom
  19. Yea, I didn't think about the transfer case. Ok, forget I said that Lol.. Its a 2008 FJ, brand new only had 140miles on it back in fall '08, now it has almost 9,500. I too like the only FJ40s, I like the old Land Cruisers too (Safari style!) Yes they do make the new FJ in a 2WD version too, its the cheepest model you can get We speard no expence, 4WD-D/R. 8 speakers and a sub (Sounds great) My mom wanted that lol. Now they need to get some aggresive tires and a brushguard and they are set I will post a picture of it on here. Ok, time for pictures again! Something no one has ever seen my car do before: I had fun today, yes it might not be extrem, but I enjoyed it. Ooo heres a picture from last year: And heres the FJ, needs some BFG All-Terrains or MTs something better then these tires lol. its a 3.0 V6 and I think 5spd auto. Its just a rocket off the line and going down the road. it just slids right into the next gear. Insaine! A must test drive! -Tom
  20. Connie, I totaly agree. The 3spd doesn't do the motor justice, If is dogish sometimes, but it works. right? Lol this tranny could use a passing gear, anyhoo. yea a 4EAT or a 5spd D/R would be nice. I wish they would have put the D/R in these 3ats (Why no?) guess it would have made it to expensive? I mean my parents '99 Blazer has hi-low and its an auto. and of corse the FJ has hi-low (Awesome truck!) Alright I need to stop carring on lol. Scott, wow you really want ot put a picture of my car on your site! Well go right ahead sir. If you want to wait till a little later today, I'm gonna go get some pictures of in on a road or in a feild or somethng lol. So if you'd like something like that better? What ever, doesn't bother me. -Tom
  21. Oh cool, I never looked at that on Rockauto! I did buy a stud from CarQuest friday . I'm happy they carrie them instock! Cause I was able to drive my car that friday Yay! Its never to late for new infomation -Tom
  22. Connie, thank you. That would be a coo idea, I too like how the EA82 looks compaired to a 1st gen Lego. Aaa, somday I'll get a D/R (The auto is great for now) shifts like new and never hear or feel anything (Band slipage, no noting!) I dunno why people say the 3ats are crap, if you change and check the fluid I think they would last. plus don't abuse it. Anyhoo thanks again Ski, you will still need to trim the front a little (Just to be safe) The rear of the fender will have to be cut (If you turn full) the front might slip by with the lift. I would just cut it cleanly with an air cut off tool, like I did. and yes I was nervus when I first cut into the front fenders but it tuned out good. The rear fenders will not need to be cut (But then again my lip was rotted Lol) I only hammerd up the lip cause my rear tires were hitting on bumps (And still did, untill the lift) Now it doesn't hit at all! Yay. Hope this helps you, and hope you get the lift! -Tom
  23. These axles are for a EA82? well if they are for the '88 GL. I don't beleive the boots are replaceable (Unless you use a big hose clamp) Lol. but that wouldn't be the best idea. How big are the cracks? if they arn't to bad, I would start applying conditioners like (Mothers Back-to-black) this does soak into the rubber and makes it alot softer and restores the material. I use it on my wagon from time to time. Also good or rubber modlings, door seals, hoses, bumpers anything rubber/plastic. Best'o luck -Tom
  24. Haha, I bet. You'd get looks in just a stock Brat here! There no old gens here :(

    Thanks for the complaments Jeff!
