EA82 ready for winter holiday
TheLoyale replied to Lukas's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Why? I would just see what the max PSI is on the tire. And then keep it like 2psi lower then that. So lets say the max PSI on the tire is 35psi then put 33-34psi. You can't reliy on what the door jam says since i'm sure you have bought new tires by now. But anyhoo always keep your tires about a 1 to 2psi lower then the max on that tire. Just in case no one knows, Heres the reason why. Ok when driving the tires are becoming warmer and heat will build pressure in the tire so if you put the max PSI in the tire and drive it you might be at risk for a tire failure. So that's why you put 1 or 2psi lower then max so the extra pressure has a place to go and won't over stretch the tire and cause shorter life of the tire. Hope someone understands what i'm saying. -Tom -
Man that sounds bad And here i thought they might be good. Plastic sides! made in china! And they dident even give you the one with the angled upward pipe. Sounds like a rip-off artist:lol: I think wheni need one i'll just see what the dealer wants. Atleast i know what i'm getting and i'm really close to them. Only about 3 miles away. good luck with ther warehouse, Hope you get the right one! -Tom

TheLoyale replied to mudduck's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Man why is there soo much of this abuse?? No Subaru should ever go thru that! The first video is stupid, You can hear the car has no power. It must have a vac leak and a cyclender not fireing.. It's sad! And the second vid is just as bad. The guy has no brakes so what does he do when he wants to stop.... Thru's it in reverse.. Putting all that stress on that trans and axes.. And in the 3rd one he's really pushing it. I'm getting tired of all this stuff. And it's all over Youtube i've seen this one guy wreck a blue Legacy wagon in a field, three times he hit a Bronco II and it still kept going. Kids now days have to remorse. -Tom I think us Subaru folks should teach him a a thing or two.. -

Check you exposed fuel lines, Like that ones but the fuel pump/fuel tank ect.. You don't want to sprain a leak in the dead cold of winter. And check your vac lines just for the heck of it. -

A possible JDM/EDM soob i don't know about?
TheLoyale replied to TheLoyale's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Yeah i know, But it's like you don't really trust what they do. but i guess if it's on warranty and you don't like ther work you can take it back and have it done right.. But they probely won't get a brand new one anyway. It's best to wait a year or two then everything bad that could happen did already. -

Yeah i guess it's all expensive.. And yeah i don't think the Warrenty thing matters because ok some parts might be coverd, but them my dad does the work. Unless it's something really bad like tranny issuse's (We don't have a case opener) I still wouldent get it... That's me. -

Yeah but what do you think parts cost and how hard it is to fix it?? I never really got close to one yet Like under ther hood and such but maybe it is a good vehicle.. I know it can go on trails really good, But my parents would't bother. my dad thinks taking a vehicle trail rideing is beating it.? Trail rideing is just seeing what the vehicle can do and have some fun. I'd do! I guess having a Toyota is the closest thing to a soob. No one in my family (Mom-Dad) don't really like Subaru's? I think it is that they don't understand them, My dad kinda thinks it's a POS car that can't do anything:mad: But there will be a day when that blazer gets stuck or just totely breaks down while my car is still going strong on to 250,000.. -Tom -

Yeah that'd be good! Ya know, I just took that candy cane and put it over the ant and it dident look too bad either.. Now if i could get it so someone can't just walk off with it? I don't think i'm putting it on anyway:grin: -

Have you ever seen the Mitsubishi dragon Z? Well i kinda like those too. if i ever came across a Vivio i would drive it to see what it's like. So you turned your mom into a Soob person. Wish i could do that with my parents. My moms really want a 2007 Toyota FJ. IDK? I think if she gets one it will have alot of issues. I keep telling my mom and dad to get a Subaru for another can when they get rid of ther 99 Blazer S-10. But that's probely not for a long time now.. Cheers Tom -

Damm i gotta learn to check for little typing mistakes. Sorry it's USMB! I don't understand why alot of people put wreaths on there grills?? Just seems dumb to me.. I guess i should take this big hollow candy cane and slide it over my radio antena:lol: And then i'll tie this big plastic Santa down to my rack and got for a ride! That would get people! lol. -
Yeah i know it's fast! You talked to Dwight right? I think i'll go there if i need a radiator.

Hey! Alright so i can't really spell Wreath.. I just woke up and probely wasnt thinking to good but who really cares? I see people all over USBM that can't really sell somethings that well and i don't harp on'em. So does anyone put WREATH'S! on there cars? Side note: I can't use the spell check on here because i don't have that program. I just use the E-Mail checker, Works pretty good. -Tom -

I didnet know they were that bad. To me they don't look too bad but if it's that underpowerd and soft steering/sys then i don't want one. I would never find one around here anyway. Happy your mom injoys her 07 OB! -
