Wow that's crazy! I'd say you scared some people!
-
Man, I know Subaru engines are made for high rev's but why would you want to go that high?? I mean 8000rpm just free reving! And 7700 in 3rd! damm that's pushing it a little hard don't you think..... All i can say is i guess there's no carbon buildup in your engine Hahahahahahaha:lol:
-
Humm, That's cool! I don't want to rev it to high right now as of i got old T-belts and a leaky MM-seal. I start to get a lifter tick if i diside to put it about 4500rmp in 2nd. So i let off the gas and let it shift. I don't want to hurt my Roo. PS: It's an auto trans.

Oh really! wow i dident think it would make pwoer that far up! Nothing like a EA82:headbang:
-
When does the EA82 SPFI stop makeing power? 5200rpm?
-
SPFI EA82 about 3500rpm in park.. And 4000-4500 in 2nd if i'm on the highway and on a dead stop.

IDK, I like it.. I would still take a Land rover Discovery over that tho. But i would take a Subaru over a Land rover! -

Hey JesZek, No it's can't be just a Ball Bearing for the timing pully. Ok so he had some noise, But the car won't start. So i'd say it was a T-belt. Maybe a Distribitor. But i dout it. Hope you find out what it was! Best of luck, and Welcome to the site! -
Can a 3-spd Loyale wagon really do 130mph?

Now that one thing i dident think of was, If you put it on jack stands and start doing 45-100mph. What's cooling the car? There's no air moving at the car! So it will over heat! Like when you take your car to Emissions. They stick a big fan in front of your car.. -
