Can a 3-spd Loyale wagon really do 130mph?
TheLoyale replied to TheLoyale's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Yep i guess that's what it is. You know my parents own a 99 Blazer S-10 4dr 4WD with the 4.3 Vortec V6 Red line@ 5500rpm. And that thing fly's! The speed-o only say's it can do 100mph. But i know it can go faster then that and probely under 5000rpm. Because if you look at the tech when your going 65-70 it's only on 1500-2000! So i wonder how fast that can go? -

So i wonder why Subaru put those gauges in it? If it can't do 130 then why does it say it? They must meen for the EA82T? -

I may not be thinming strait but, What do you mean? -
Yeah just like Mike said, It better be mint! You can always find an EA82 vehicle that runs and drives good for anywhere from $450-$900. So i'd see if you can talk them down! We all know that no Loyale should go for $3000 and with 111,000 i'd would really get them down!

Hey Nipper! hahahaha! yeah i agree:lol: And Shannon, I'll have to do that sometime. I'm just afrade it mite just some-how move or fall off and then wham! Right into the back of my parents 93 ranger! But yeah your right the valves will probely start to float first. I wonder if Subaru really pushed the EA82 to that speed? -
Car speakers are too big!!
TheLoyale replied to tacotim's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Well. That's not a bad idea! I don't really know how the'll sound but it's a good idea. If you want better speakers for both doors. Try these! I've got two of them and it's really nice! Great bass and sound you can understand! There Pioneer 260W 4-ways! Really nice! Only $69.99 at wal-mart. And get some Scosche speaker wire too! If you want to see them check out cardomain.com/ride/2401975 I think your on the right page! -

Wow you rebuild Subaru engines! Cool! Anyhoo you mean the engine had power left! Yeah i know. There's no point on pushing a car if it doesnt feel right! PS: Can you give me any info on doing a T-belt and oil pump job? I have the Milesfox info for both. but i would like something more pisific. Like do i need to remove the Radiator? And what else? And can i do it a weekend? my dad has never worked on a Subaru before. Nor a Japanese engine/vehicle. So any info is good info. Just PM me! Sorry Mods for changeing the tread. It will go back to topic now... -

TheLoyale replied to misledxcracker's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Alright thanx! Yeah i know the brakes are fine. I did them last summer. And the car dident move to much. But yeah i'll bleed the hole thing your right it would be pointless other wise. And thank's for the order i have to do it in.. And as for the Lines, Those are good because they had under coating + grease on them. there still the glossy gray color! Thanks to everyone! -
Oh well ok then, Yeah i'm going to get a few other things but not at the same time. (I an't got the cash) I'm just getting the rack, both mounts, And after i get some more money i mite get that spare tire bracket. then i'll buy some lights somewhere. And mount those up there. I'd like to see your Roo if you get that rack and sutch.. Later man.....

Can anyone tell me what Rack posts will fit right into my OEM tracks? Because i would ask them but i have a feeling that if i tell them what vehicle i have they'll say we only see parts for SUV's.. So they probely won't even help me.. So can anyone help me out on which would work!http://everythingsuv.com/surco_safari_roof_racks-esuv.asp Here's the link again.

TheLoyale replied to TheLoyale's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Hummmm? Well then maybe i'll try that too! I can't figure what happend? It still have a ground wire onit! So IDK?? -
I don't know why your rear wiper is so corroded and frozen?? Mine was not.. But as for sealing it. I don't think you can!
-
Yeah you right! The DL's corner light is a little difrent! The amber part is bigger and sticks out a bit.. But i toom knew is was not a Loyale because of the metel strip on the side trim.

PS: I think the diagnostic connector is a big green plug by the master cylender! Ontop by the fire wall. You can't miss it!
