  1. I guess by looking at the flywheel, it will determine what step I should take next. I would say the EA81 GL chassis is a pretty Madmax vehicle if you would, These require very little to keep going forever, even under extremes. Wonder if I can convert it to pig sh*t? :-p
  2. Finished bending up the rear lines, and connected to the calipers. Just need the hydraulic hose which leads to the frame.
  3. Thanks for telling me about this thread today! You got all that stuff for $100, wow. Yeah it is kinda sad there is not as much of a Market for the II's as there is for all the other Mustangs. That Blue coupe looked awesome! Thats just like my Mom had (Except Bright Yellow and 4cyl) Keep it up man!
  4. Yes indeed, the EA82 tank is somewhat different, also the mounting bolt holes are different IIRC. Also the sending is on top vs on the back. Which is why I had to source an EA81 tank for my build.
  5. Picked up a EA81 Chilton from Matt today, thanks man!
  6. That'll be a fitting color for it! Can't wait to see it after paint.
  7. Finally found the Dually Coupe'! Love this car. Madmaxish
  8. Every Subaru 4x140 wheel, listed here with names and photos. http://www.indysworld.com/80s/general/wheels/wheels.html
  9. Or just redrill the 4x140 hubs to 6x139 and run any 6-lug wheel on the market (Give or take) Write-up/How-to found here. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=132536
  10. Good facts and thank you for all the info! That is pretty amazing it has 150hp, I am guessing torque it about 175ft.lbs? How many speed transmission does the sephia have? 4 with some type of overdrive? WOW! I am very shocked that Kia took over the Elan name from lotus, amazing. I liked the 60s Elans, fun tiny cars.
  11. Here is my return spring set up! I also got the Hubcaps from Skylar today! These are gonna be temp until I get some wheels
  12. Here is my added return spring setup. Works perfect, and the pedal feels great!
  13. Going over it with a sanding disc is what I had in mind. Was thinking 200grit, too rough? I'm pretty sure I can still get a new flywheel thru a parts house if needed.
  14. Oh goodie! Off come the door cards again, boo!
  15. Fly wheel resurface? Should I bother, or just toss in a new clutch kit? I don't think its needed? When I did drive it, the clutch felt smooth, and no noise. But the disc is indeed worn, 3/4 way out and than it grabs, no much to play with, plus it was slipping. Resurface; Yes/No? Things to know when/if I go to get it resurfaced?
  16. Ah man, it was a Touring wagon too! I've seen that car for a few years, it pretty awesome!
  17. Thanks for the feedback ya'll. We'll see what I do when I get that far, Have I let anyone down on the board yet? No matter which direction I take this car, it will be done well, down to the seams. I'm overly anal as you can see, Afterall, anyone who would wait 2 weeks for some rubber insulated spade terminals from Hong Kong because plain terminals wouldn't look as finished, MUST be an anal Mofo :-p
  18. Those 3 relays on the passenger side strut tower have something to do with the A/C system, maybe one is stuck. I actually have another one of those relays and another one of those solenoid things. The only thing I don't have is an Idle up Valve. Let me know if these would be any use to you. -Tom
  19. Correct, a small vac line runs from the red circle, to the idle up valve which is on the intake, its like a 1/8" hose.
  20. I am going to bump this thread, for good return spring ideas. This is my setup, without a return spring atm. Choke wire.
