  1. Cool. I will write down the part number so I have something to go by if I'm not able to buy that one. I think a little sportier wheel would be cool in the GL, but not something that doesn't work with the interior and throws off the balance. How come everyone tries to buy the Boss adapters from AU, which are a PITA to get in the US, if you can just buy this one from MOMO? Or are these getting hard to find as well?
  2. Oops! Mods, please move this to the 80s section. I forgot I was in the members rides section. Sorry...!
  3. So, why is the bumper on a 1986 GL-10 so different then any other EA82? Its about as long as an '87-'94 Bumper, but the turn signal tunnels are different and what is the molding on top of the bumper? Kinda interesting.
  4. Ah gatcha! Development products are always "fun" lol

I know Shawn is doing some stuff to the board, so that might be the reason. Just get glitched up.

  5. Your PM box is full, so I'll send this to you here.

Ok, thats a good bit of info! I know there are a few first gen legacys around my local yards. I will check to see if they are '91s. Is it possible the TCU with the open socket are only for Sedans or Wagons? Maybe a specific trim line?

The car your adding paddle shifters to is AWD, yeah? I'll keep my eyes open for ya :)

  6. What would it take to put this on the EA81? http://www.ebay.com/itm/320mm-6-Hole-Black-Center-Black-PVC-Leather-Steering-Wheel-Maxima-240SX-Sentra-/300734925817?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item460532cbf9#ht_3026wt_1282
  7. Gonna be picking up a complete set of 1990 Loyale FSMs! Finally! Always wanted all the paper manuals.
  8. Isn't this the car you found a hotwheel or toy dino in one of the heat ducts? I can't give you much insight on the HVAC buttons, I've never had that apart on my EA82, so I don't really know what it looks like behind there. :-\
  9. Are the screws somehow grounding the controls wrong? Relays getting stuck?
  10. What size are these fans, 12"? This car is looking outstanding in everyway!
  11. Wow thats amazing! Congratulations on winning "Best Datsun" That car has come a lot way
  12. Dec/1986 Issue of Playboy (Spain)! No? What is it??!! Can't think of anything I am wanting for the EA82 except JDM corner lights.
  13. Nice score on the Legacy, and welcome to the board. These cars are super easy to work on, the EJ22 is a great motor to learn Subarus on. I will be looking forward to the build thread. Is that a 2500 Silverado? -Tom
  14. An Exhaust shop would need to have your car in order to make a header or alter yours, to make sure fitment is correct. If you have a header made, you will want to keep the original diameter tubing which is 1-7/8" - if you bump it up to 2" you are going to loose torque and power as there is less backpressure. As for the Bighorns, They make them in a 27x8.5x14" which isn't going to be any good since you can not run 14" wheels on your car due to the larger brakes. But, they might make another size for 15" rims which is around 27-28"
  15. I don't get the Latex paint thing either. Here, they will take it, but it must be in dry form. I dunno about you, but does anyone know how long it takes for a full gallon of latex paint to dry with the lid off? I can toss it out at work though, just don't tell anyone it was me Lol!
  16. A Skid-plate will not clear an UEL header. Unless you space the skidplate down which will be pointless as it'll then get snagged on stumps ect. I have an UEL header on my Outback, its worth it for sound and a bit of added low-end torque. Make your own header, so you can tuck it up the way you want it. Or make a custom skidplate. Get some Maxxis Bighorns or BFG KM2s.
  17. Not real sure if I'm gonna buy a door, perhaps I shouldn't act with hast on this. Depends how low I can get the price if I strip the door of everything. I will probably still bring the proper tools, and ride along, help ya out with the tube if anything.
  18. You hit it right on the head. I pour it down the drain in the basement and run a lot of soap/water. Or the gutter outside and let it run into the road. I've never checked if Wisconsin has a Coolant recycling center, but I really don't feel like wasting my time with it either. I also pour excessive contaminated fuel in the gutter or in my driveway so it evaps. AND I have been known to dump gear oil down the drain, not that often as I don't want my sewer to clog up.
  19. Which is why I want to grab the rear passenger door, its mint. Wonder if I can do it this Friday? Do you want to go to the junkyard Friday? Anything sooner and I will not have any money lol. Unless you want to buy it and I'll give you cash the before the weekend. Let me know your plan on going there either way.
  20. Yes, those are 12-hole 13x5.5 Cal-Masters: http://www.indysworld.com/80s/general/wheels/calmaster.jpg
