  1. tjani, I've been looking for a set of those Corner lights with the bumped out Amber lens. What do you think shipping would run on a set of those to the U.S? -Tom JesZek has been on the search for those for I and him self
  2. I noticed that it looks just like the shop press, why change a working design was probably their thought on Manufacture savings ect.
  3. Does it stand on the floor? Or do I need to bolt it to something?
  4. What is the opinion of this 12ton Hydro tube bender? It comes with 8 dies and can bend from 1/2" to 3" tubing. This is a pretty decent price I think. I think the 12ton would do for making a header, eh? http://www.ebay.com/itm/12-Ton-Hydraulic-Pipe-And-Tube-Bender-Exhaust-Pipes-/320791172370?pt=BI_Pipe_Benders&hash=item4ab0a4d512#ht_2406wt_1173
  5. So, I didn't find much on youtube of the Duel exhaust, Most of it shows the Duel pipe muffler on WRXs? Whatever the point of that it. Although, I found this car. Sounds nice.
  6. Perrin is a pretty large well known Aftermarket supplier for the Impreza crowd. I will check out some videos of the Dual pipes.
  7. And the chances of finding a video of this is slim I bet? Is this something that was conjured up in a garage in IN? It probably does sound cool, I have no idea though!
  8. I would say any 6" lifted Brat, pulling a small church would be it. Color aside
  9. I don't know about the true dual exhaust, might kill the sound and possibly any power the EA81 could push out? I was actually thinking of some how making an UEL header like whats on the Legacy, so I can get a nice deep growl outta this thing. I would use the stock 1-7/8" tubing until I hit the Mid pipe, then I would bump it up to 2.25" with a 16" Resonator and then straight pipe the rest out the rear and perhaps bump the size up to 2.5" for the tail pump. I'm trying to get the EA to sound kinda like an EJ, I think an UEL header woud really do it, along with low end torque. I will have to measure the flange and see what the parts store can get me with those dimensions. My only issue is bending the tube, I really want to do a first rate job on this and not just a slice, bent, weld job.
  10. I think I have a picture like this in the Safariwagon Resto thread Haha! Although, I got stuck with Stone guard white.
  11. Personally, I would keep the EA65 or EA71 over any EJ. Even the Duel-Port EJ22 I had, I didn't like much. Old Slow Subarus are the way to go. if you go and pull out that old EA, ship it to me
  12. He now owns Trashwagon10 which is the car I made ('95 Outback) Kinda miss that car, should have just swapped it to 5spd... Ah well, onto better and OLDER Subarus. :-p
  13. You still got the XT! Thats cool. This would be the largest old gen round up for a Meet/show. I am hoping to get the Ski wagon all done before Don Miller, I still need a new rad, Clutch kit, Axle, weld the rockers in, reinstall the interior, swap on my rear discs, new pads, belts, fluids. I want to get the Fuel lines all hooked up tomorrow. I want to here this EA81 roar again! And it sure will with a wide open cat. Mid pipe broke off and the header probably leaks. I need to make my own exhaust, Header and all. Where can I buy new Header flanges for the EA81? I would be down for the Hoan bridge thing soon.
  14. I also don't believe in this, no matter what bearing I get, I always repack it with my own grease. I've never had any issues with seals blowing out ect. I like knowing what the status is on my new parts, I don't expect to ever replace a wheel bearing again once I install a new one.
  15. Where was it? Clovis..? Is that the city? This would be interesting to see, and I sure as hell would like to see this thing in person! Although, there is a 9" lifted Baja running around WI, thats kinda interesting!
  16. This is not a Transmission issue, it is most likely the Coolant Temp sensor on the Coolant cross over like Fox said. I had this issue with my '95. I also had a bad Knock sensor and Cam sensor which did not help the matter. The first time it stalled I thought I was out of fuel Ha! The coolant temp sensor is about $40 bucks from most parts stores. It is kinda of a PITA to get to because the IAC (Idle Air Control Valve) is in the way, but you "can" get to it. I did Take care, -Tom
  17. A Glasspack Turbo muffler is pretty decent. About $30, and is Oval.
  18. Subruise how now picked up a rear disc set for me! Big THANK YOU goes out to the dude! Thank you man! Thank you.
