  1. Haha, yeah I remember that thing too! Didn't really look to bad, although kind sucks a Brat got chopped up. I'm gonna try and search for that Coupe. (Was an EA71 coupe)
  2. That thing looks really good, doesn't even look like rattle can with a spray gun clear. I like the stance with those (Rally?) wheels.
  3. I know a guy who had a TR6 (project) but he gave up and sold out of it for a BMW M5 wagon
  4. I'm probably going to bring both to the dealer meets (At least Don Miller) I'll drive the EA82 and my folks are gonna drive the Ski wagon. What are planning on bringing to Don Miller on June 10th? 3-Door and TW10?
  5. I am pretty surprised how easy this car is coming apart, I haven't really broken any bolts, except for a few 10mms and one 6mm for the fuel filler (I used drilled it out and used a nut behind it) This car looked worse then it really was I suppose, aside from needing fuel lines, brake lines, brakes, Fuel tank, rockers ect.. Ha.
  6. There is some 70s Subaru I've seen with rear Duallies (Looked Mad Maxish) Can't find the picture again though...
  7. I just noticed that "Chassis Black" paint you have is in fact a High-Solids base as well! Very good
  8. That is all the same stuff I've used! The Rustolium undercoating is pretty good, all rustolium products are good. May I suggest going to your local Farm&Fleet or FleetFarm and buying this? It is a High-Solids base enamel, they have it in Semi or Gloss black. Very good stuff, I've never seen a better black enamel. Rustolium doesn't even come close. Its about $5 a can.
  9. Indeed it would be, but I like to have stuff the same day if possible. Plus I reprice all the hardware I buy, as I know the guy well and I trim the price to my liking. Dude is still making more then enough money off my, I've already blown $60+ on stainless lol! Headlights back in, with stainless bolts! I removed the filler tube, repainted that and the tube mounting area. Stainless M4 bolts and washers.
  10. So when are we gonna see pics of this thing? !!
  11. Get a '91-'92, the 3F-E is a better motor, no HG issues. '94-'97 should have E-lockers front and rear though!
  12. I've actually seen one made out of an old Oil drum, Had a plexi-glass window, and rubber glove inserts, along with a Shop-vac hook up. Looked and worked pretty well. I like the idea of building one, I need to make my own welding cart as well.
  13. I paid $74 for a rear wheel bearing for my '83 GL. It was a Moog. $5 and $7 for National Seal brand Seals.
  14. Possibly. Although, we'll never know unless I try I've been looking at Harbor freight, but really don't want to drop $200 on one.
  15. I have the idea of just using a metal box so I can capture most of the media. Tom mentioned building my own blast box. Seems rather easy, I'm just trying to keep size down, perhaps big enough to stick a 15" wheel in and that'd be good for me. I also had the idea of placing the part in a metal wash tube and then blast, should work fairly well (Also wear eye protection and a mask)
  16. Thanks for the info, I've been talking with TomRhere and he mentioned the same aspects that you did Thank you it will all stick in my head. So the sand is as bad as the "Dusty Bowl" dust? Haha.. Am I gonna die of Black lung?
  17. I have spent close to $60 for all the bolts/washers/nutz so far, far from over.
