You will have to go by Model number sticker on the transmission to determine the diffs ratio. Marshall, only Automatic Legacys had 4.11 gears. All Manual Legacys have 3.9 gears. 1996-'99 Outback Autos have 4.44, Manual Outbacks have 4.11 -

EA81 Rear Fuel Line Routing (Need pics)
TheLoyale replied to TheLoyale's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Thanks to the PDF Tom Redmond sent me, I now have the fuel pump lines correct! The PDF also kinda shows the rest of the lines. So that helps! Thank you Tom for the PDF. -
The EA82 has a two piece driveshaft, so it uses a rubber mounted bearing to stabilize it. The EA81 cars have a single piece and do not have a bearing. Cheers.

Official 6-Lug Re-drill Thread: Now in the USRM!

The General Grabbers are garbage in deep snow so I've been told. xbeerd has a set on his car (And I have one for my 5th wheel) I would get the BFGs if you do a lot of driving with the car and they are better in every terrain (Except deep mud, which is where the Bighorns come into play) Guess it all depends what you are gonna be doing the most with the tires. My Bighorns have about 6000 miles on them and are showing signs of wear, more so now that I've been doing a lot of interstate. -

You could run the BFGoodrich ATs which are gonna last longer, the Bighorns don't wear for sh*t for a DD (Ask me how I know lol) You'll also be blowing $700 on tires alone. -

You would be better off going with the 15" wheels vs 14", tires aren't that plentiful for 14" anymore. Still enough out there, but most aren't worth it. -

EA81 Rear Fuel Line Routing (Need pics)

Here are some pictures. First off, does this look correct? I bent all new lines and replaced the rubber, but I forgot how it looked when I took it apart. This is the line which clips to the tank and runs to the Canister in the fender wall, what connects to this end of it? Maybe it will all make more sense once I get the fuel pump back up. The other end of that line This is the front part of the tank, I assume one if Feeler line and the other a return? The 3rd is the line from that canister. These are the rest of the lines I bent up, I need to know which end this 2-way valve goes on the long u-shaped line. And the lines which enter the cabin. If someone have a picture in this view, it would help me see where everything connects. Thank you, -Tom -

Wow, that turned out really well with the new plug-in! Very clean and thats how I like it. Wiring gives me a headache sometimes, and that definitively would have gave me a big headache haha! As for those twister connectors, wow. I never use that, if I do need to connect two wires together I will either use butt connectors and then tap it well or I will use bullet connectors so it will be removable/plug'N play. Soldering is always a good idea, especially for trailer wiring. I like that LED light bulb, never seen that style before, although, SuperbrightLEDs.com might have something like that. As for the Processor cooling fan! WHAT!? That sounds like a very cool idea to keep the Head Unit cool. Keep up the good write-ups, people sure enjoy them and gives us good ideas! -

I agree, the Sedan is still practical (Its a driving car lol) plus, its not so low that you have to pull into a parking lot at an angle. I just think some of the lines are a bit harsh and doesn't flow. With a little more work, that car could look really cool, almost a WRX-RX. Pooparu's Widebody First gen is boss though!
