  1. I know there was a thread around here, where some guy did full WRX running gear on a Brat. I'm sure someone will know what I'm talking about.
  2. The main reason I am going with 16" Trailer wheels is I can get a new set of 4 shipped to my door for $250, Try finding any other wheels you can get that cheaply new and shipped. Plus they'll just look boss on the Ski wagon! Toyota wheels are nice, I have a set of 6-lug 15" Alloys on my Landcruiser. I really like that style of wheel ('91-'92 Landcruiser) '93-'97 had a different style. I also want to say the first gen 4-runners had these wheels as well. Post some pics once you get your done!
  3. That actually looks really good for rattle can, ACE rattle can at that! It looks fairly even and well coated, some over spray, but you are always gonna have that with the narrow spray pattern of an Aerosol. Looks good man, props! -Tom
  4. Pooparu makes the Ski decals so I've heard. As for the bottom rocker decal, that would be pretty easy to make in a matching blue vinyl with the lettering cutouts. I will measure the original, and then send you the measurements sometime. Going nuts with the decal making now eh? Awesome!
  5. Agreed, it is probably larger. But I bet the Gen-III Leone will be over looked. The EA82 was also over looked in this video. It seems as the Legacy and Impreza was Subarus benchmark, mainly because of the WRC, I guess. I am discussed with the absence of the EA82. Video:
  6. They never include the EA82 wagon into their lineup. Its always the RX. But they have a Legacy wagon?
  7. This is my idea once I get the body work all done and the Ski decal remade. I am going to replace "SUBARU AN AMERICAN COMPANY" With this: Not necessarily this font, but perhaps "Impact" font.
  8. I've seen a bit of the custom Radio surrounds people do using wood, some turn out well, some not so much. CD players existed in 1983, why Subaru didn't put one in this car is beyond me. Haha! :-p Anyway, I got the bumper ends from SuperBrat Monday. They look good. I cleaned them up and are ready to install once the bumper goes on. I am also finishing up on floor tube welding and will then assess the rockers once they arrive. I have a pretty good idea on how I'm going to go about it. Better picture of the new hood.
  9. That is what I was thinking... Damn. Oh well, speaker upgrade is all it'll be then.
  10. So, since the stock radio has knobs. How would I mount a Pioneer in place of the stocker? Do I really have the cut the radio surround (Don't want too) Post some pics of what others have done with aftermarket radios.
  11. Great write-up as well! Thank you. This is the way I'm going now, much easier and I won't need to create a 60* bevel seat.
  12. Wow, thats pretty serious. Glad you got it taken care of. Cheers, -Tom
  13. Here is a picture for ya. I trimmed before I have the fenders repainted.
  14. Desert Fox, in MI? Lol! That'll look cool though, I think the decals will look good against the Tan body. Where are the fuel doors on both that Wagon and Hatch?
  15. Yes, I have to trim the front fenders a bit, I'll get you a better picture today.
  16. I'm really getting excited now, I want to redrill my hubs, get those 16" Steelies. I also want a Brat fuel door (Which is flat like a body panel) I want to hear this baby fire up again! Only heard it once a few months ago. It will be a notable day for sure! I think I will get my rockers welded up first and then worry about the Fuel tank and Delivery lines.
  17. Both are good posts, Good detailed pictures and a good link on "How To" Thank you. WTF is with those (Lift?) blocks? Looks rather scary..
  18. What? are you mad sir? They are molded to the correct shape, there is no cutting and gluing on the factory assembly line.
  19. Gaatcha! Is there even enough surface to do this on the front wheel spindles? I know drums have more then enough room. Picture of a redrilled wheel spindle would be tits! Here is a thread from Canada, these look like a mess omg. I don't think these hosers know what der doing there eh. http://montrealracing.com/forums/showthread.php?697246-Redrilling-wheels
  20. I also put a Genuine Black dome light in a few days ago! Looks better than the Blue one
  21. 6 lug swap? I want to say I remember this, but not sure. Have a link?
