  1. I got a good working hood latch assy with cable/handle from a local picknpull, it came out of a Rust free 1981 4WD Hatch, CA car, has plaid/tan interior. Someone took the motor out once and repainted the engine bay and the motor! Really clean car, wow. No more hood pins for me Ma! I am going to get the front bumper and hood off this car, maybe a fender as well.
  2. I found one front seat at my Junkyard in a rust free CA '81 GL Hatch, the rear bench looked ok too.
  3. They only have one First gen Legacy. a 1990 Legacy wagon (Red) so hopefully that IAC will be in working order.
  4. All your back pressure is coming from the Header which is stock 1-7/8" after that, open it up, gain some flow and some growl.
  5. I never had an issue with torque after I fixed the IAC and MAF. I was cruising at 105mph before I sold it to you, the car still have power. It could be the larger tires with the 4:11 gearing, but I think it does just fine for a 4EAT. This thread is pretty old lol. What I would do, and am planning to do with my EA82 and EA81, would be make my own Mid-pipe out of 2.25" tubing, then ad an 18" resonator, run it out to the bumper and flare it up to 2.5" and that should have a nice deep rumble with no rasp.
  6. Yes, this indeed dealer installed. It does have the push bottom added to the lower right side of the dash (Which has now been removed) I will get a plug or put a offroad light switch in its place lol. I forgot about the Stalk on the column, I will have to remove that. And that answers a question I had prior, so thank you! I just wanted to make sure any wiring that can be removed, has been, as I don't want to send somebody something that is not complete. As for that passenger side headlight, it was very clean, no moisture in it and no rust. Although, there is another dude up in Anchorage that has a bunch of EA82 parts, he might have one. PM "86GL-10trbosdn" about it
  7. No word on my Dealer cruise eh? Just like to know I removed as much as I could before I put it up for sale.
  8. The GL was pretty rough, rotted underside, interior is totalled. But the engine looked good, should with only 100,000 miles!
  9. Found both Subarus out there. I got an Asktray for the GL! And some extra chrome center caps with Bronze center. '82 GL FWD 4spd 98,000 miles '91 Loyale FWD 3AT 74,000 miles
  10. Wadsworth IL pick'N pull list an '82 GL and '91 Loyale instock. Going there today and check things out.
  11. I am going to bump this thread, because this car is awesome! Mick, I want to go with a stance like this on the Ski wagon. Are those Chevy 6 lugs btw?
  12. It could just be turned, as the coils are still at the same spiral pitch as the others. But it does look funky.
  13. They would not be Peugeot wheels. As they are stamped with "Fab France" This is the wheel company at hand, these wheels are 4x108mm but KN Engineering is indeed a wheel manufacture.
  14. I was thinking about it, possibly later this summer.
  15. Better Color code chart. Some of the others are incorrect. They also do not list a 1983 Porcelain white. Here is the one from Subarusofthe80s. http://www.indysworld.com/80s/general/paintchips/paintchips.html
  16. I was indeed thinking about removing it, just wasn't sure what it was. I might see about this tomorrow if it doesn't rain. Also, can I eliminate all this Charcoal canister stuff without throwing an engine code? I want to clean up as many un-needed vac lines as possible.
  17. WTF is this thing? Some type of vapor recalculation unit?
  18. SO, I took out the Dealer installed CC today (Cause I seriously do not want it lol) I think I removed everything, correct? Please let me know if these pictures show everything for the dealer cruise control. Also, I am planning on selling the complete assy if somebody wants it, PM me if so. The only piece I do not have is the switch which the Clutch peddle presses, it was plastic and had been broke at some point. Everything else is there and functional Is this also part of the cruise assy? It is clipped into the same dash harness. This wire used to connect to the cruise harness, it runs up into the steering column. Do I need to remove this as well? And this? Let me know if there is anything else I need to remove for a complete cruise assy.
  19. What is a Zip code up by you? I'm gonna do a quick quote for shiz and gigz. Mines 53186. Edit: a Parcel Post from 99506 to 53186 with a 15x10x15 26lbs box is about $30. So lets say $60 total for 4 alloy rims. Not to bad if that is ballpark.
  20. Now if you ever get the car moving, you'll be able to stop it!
  21. Welcome to the USMB! From the Subaru Alliance SE WI :)
