  1. Does anybody know how many of Each year Ski wagons existed? For instance, how many 1983 GLs were done up with the Skiwagon decals? Could the wagon in this photo actually be mine?
  2. I agree, it was probably a dealer promo thing (Like Don Yenko) I'm sorry, but that wagon is kinda ugly. Might just be the color.
  3. I feel like I am going to get this car on the road real soon!
  4. Pretty much, I didn't even try to hard trying to get them out. Why waste the energy, taking the axle apart is much quicker.
  5. Cleaned up 3.900 Diff. I will now need a new 3.900 metal sticker... Hmm?
  6. I now had a very beat pin socket, thanks to xbeerd. This is the same socket Clint and I beat on while doing wheel bearings on Monster. Now heres hoping that the bearing retaining ring comes off with moderate difficulty. Mick, I might take you up on that carpet
  7. I ordered a new Rear wheel bearing and seals today from PartsHut. Will have them tomorrow morning. Now I need a Pin socket, possible borrow of the one Scott has.
  8. So, my '83 has the Hitachi (Which is correct) and these run Brass bushings Vs Bearings huh. Wonder how ofter they fail? Something to look forward too I guess :-/
  9. There is also a fuse or relay on that bracket, I forget which it is. I dunno if it is also for the HVAC system or not.
  10. Indeed. I think I have the 3 vehicles I will have for the rest of my life lol!
  11. So, some more goodness today. I remove the rear diff and axles, I basically took the CVJs apart since the cups won't budge from the stubs. The boots are still nice, but need new clamps. I am also repacking the axle cups with Kendall Blu-Ball grease. 3.900 Diff Axle Balls and Race. Replacing the wheel bearing will be much easier now, since the axle is removed. High-Solids based Enamel (Real thick) More floor work. I then removed the diff cover for inspection. Oil was clean as were the internal gears. Oil looked like honey! Clean. Going to repaint the Diff cover.
  12. That is for your Heater controls. I commend you for having a nice clean engine bay! Welcome to the club of the few
  13. The only D/R Auto that U know of, was offered in the Subaru Bighorn (Isuzu Trooper) So I am really wondering about this trans. I also want to say some of the South American Legacys had a D/R 4EAT.
  14. I will take that Cable! Does it come with handle? I will also take your good hood latch assy and I would be interested in that core support once I get to that point. PM me if you'd like.
  15. Geez! What else are you stashing in your garage Tom? Perhaps Pugs? :-p
  16. Oh ho! So you are stashing all the EA81 partsoroma eh?
  17. For further reference Rockauto lists two clutch kits, one for 4WD and one for 2WD. The clutch disc I need for a 4WD measures Disc Spec: 8-7/8" OD X 7/8" ID X 21T Correct? 2WD apps uses an 1" smaller disc? Disc Spec: 7-7/8" OD X 7/8" ID X 21T
  18. Restoring my Skid plate, I used Aircraft stripper and some extremely high Acid desolver I took from work. Turned out pretty good, next up will be prep and paint for it.
