  5. didnt read the hole story before i posted. lol sorry Press charges is good agree the loyale was saved because of the legacy. all hail safariwagon i have the control arm and tie rod. 'pm sent
  6. i know its not the valve covers. they are still Bone Dry. i figured engine removal would be required. i just need to know were its leaking exactly so i can find the gaskets for it. i cant fix it right now i have to wait till the weekend. Cleaned up the GT Rims and Repainted them. flat black to Gloss Black. i may ad White or Maybe Red. from this to this other shots
  7. now I'm on to fixing the oil Leak. my outback is leaking oil out the front and rear. goes onto the exhaust and burns off. a common problem i have heard from many. local wrecking yards and few other people. guy at the gas station said there a seal on the back that needs replaced. i wanna confirm what it is before i spend my Subaru Funds on it. Video Soon:
  8. Put Some GT Rims on and my BF Goodrich Tires. these tires are not the greatest they can get me threw maybe 1 more summer. then they will be done (warn out).
  9. and the Reply was: the 2000 subaru l wagon is the only one with this tranny its not interchangable. but on the off chance we cannot rebuild how much are you asking? -John
  10. i found an ad looking for a transmission for there 2000 Legacy. they need 5 speed. i have one from a 1998 Legacy. would my 98 legacy trans work in a 2000 ? -Thanks in advance --John
  11. i figured that out already. yes it has 2.2L well... did before i sold the engine.
  12. 987687 is your legacy automatic or standard ? ok i checked and no Sticker ! so i have no idea what the legacy has ?! any other way to tell ?
  13. my 91 legacy with 4.11 did awesome in the Snow. i figured the outback had 4.11 because it takes off easy like the 91 legacy does. I'll check tomorrow if i don't forget. I'll be sure to report back and if i get pictures i'll post them. -John
  14. i never looked at that. my outback i have no idea what it has. the rear diff sticker is gone. my 91 legacy had a 4.11 Ratio so wouldn't a 98 be also ? i like 3.90 Gear ratio better BTW. and i dunno what would be best for winter 3.90 or 4.11 ? thanks for reminding me man.
  15. Hi Guys i would like to make my outback non-hydro clutch making my outback Cable clutch instead. i really don't like the hydro clutch its way to easy to press. i gotta put pressure on it and i rearranged the decals on the hatch. moved outback to the left and moved the awd up with out putting the legacy Decal back on. Reason: to look like the 2000 Outback  Added 16 Valve Decals from a Pontiac Grand Damn .
  16. ok. my outback doesn't need it. i thought about keeping it for a back up trans. good to know. and thanks for the info
  17. hmm. my outback has hydrolic clutch and the legacy does not. could i use the cable clutch in my hydrolic clutch outback ?
  18. My Outback now has a Parts Car. 1998 Legacy would the gauges work in my 99 outback ?
  19. ok didn't hear of this one. wish i had a spare to take apart so i don't screw up this one.
