  1. Some New Pictures. Updates: Rear Bumper Replaced, Tires Changed New IATS, Skull and Cross-bone Pin Stripping.
  2. my 1999 Impreza Outback Sport aka Prez ( the 3rd) after 4 impreza's i found they suit me better than the Legacy and Legacy Outback. Long story short i paid $300 for this impreza and engine was thought to be Blown, ended up being a timing pulley. This one fits me so well, Its Black, wagon, 5 Speed AWD & Best Parts is that it has a 2.2L not my Fav 2.2L but a 2.2L none the less. 2 pictures from the day i bought it and 2 most recent Pictures. All Said and Done, Passed Inspection.
  3. it has new plugs and wires, so it cannot be the wires i only pulled those wires to see if the coilpack is firing and it was, at the same time i recorded video of it. i have tried diconnectiing the battery for 30 min the code did indeed return. pulling the boots had nothign to do with the misfire.
  4. ok so now my impreza throws me a CEL scanned it and got P0113 Intake air Temp Sensor 1 Circuit High Input and Cylinder 1 & 3 Misfire since i got it to run the idle hasnt been smooth, thinking it would eventually clear. could the timing have something to do with it ? is the IAT causing this ? however when climbing hills it doesnt skip a beat, and seems to have full power. i can pull 1 & 3 wires while its running and the engien doesnt notcie its pulled as shown in this video
  5. the top pulleys run like a champ, i am however worried about the lower right pulley, i wish i had the funds to replace it. no bent valves or anything, it didnt even jump time, wich is something i couldnt believe. no raps, taps ticks or knocks.
  6. I love the EJ22 becasue it has decent power and decent MPG. thats just my personal opinion. dont get me wrong i like the EJ25's power just not the MPG.
  7. Update: Engine is not blown, it was the bottom left imc pulley comepletley shaved out. i have replaced it and the engine is running great i however had to remove the engine due to rear main seal leaking something fearce. Video: Video 2: Soon to be Road Ready
  8. possibly a Phase 2 2.5L ? or Swap intake from the Phase 2 2.2L to a Phase 1 Engine ?
  9. i have aquired a 99 outback Sport, so i found out its a Phase 2 and possilby Blown Engine, the guy doesnt know anything about subarus and never torn one apart so it sat for months. if this Phase 2 2.2L is bad what are my options for engine replacement ? i would like to install an EJ25 or 1995 EJ22 (dual port) i havent yet started the car to find out what noise it is making, i am asking ahead of time so i cant think it through. Greatly Appreciate the Help -John
  10. what if use eA82 rack lines ect... just use an EA81 pump ? or would there be issues with mating Ea81 pump to EA82 Lines ?
  11. Wow thats just Brutatlity to a Brat (Bratality), i cant believe you guys even though of that. well it being Uni-body, wouldn't that make the wagon/3dr weak ? really rather just change the face than chop up the Body.
  12. well i figured like miles said the healights would mount, using the brats stock fenders and do some tin work for the side marker lights or if possible leave the stock brat sider markers in if they fit with headlights. BratMan WHY??? becasue i personally like the Loyale Look Better. also its different
  13. Impressed with the Work you done, good to see a Brat beign saved and restored does my heart good. I Really Want One but hard to find

  16. has anyone ever tried to fit a Loyale Front end on a Brat ? i edited this picture to see what a brat would look like with a Loyale/gl front clip Doable i'm sure Loyale + Brat = Loybratle ?
  17. id come get it but your to far, and i already have a Spare ER27
