I forgot about the grill, and you need the small trim piece that goes under the headlights as well. You need everthing from corner light to cornerlight. -

It is a bolt in but you need the lights and the buckets as well. You need to rework the wireing as well in order to go from 1 light to 2 per side. -

LoL Ahh funny. Checked the disty, rotor is secure and its rotating. Could the same theory be applied to testing the fuel pump. Run a cord from the power side of the pump to the battery to test if it works. Are there any other avenues i could check. If the computer was dead would the whole electrical system not work. -

Those 27 inch tires are going to bog down that motor alot. Makes 5th gear pretty much useless. -

Guys do me a favor, look at the pictures of my timeing belts again. The cover thats really messed up look at the position the pully is. It looked pretty crooked to me and that is the side i changed the valve cover on. Is it possible i knocked it out of alignment. -

I wish i had someone here to check the disty while i cranked it over. Sometimes its hard to do this buy yourself. So my timeing belt covers are in rough shape. But i can see both belts are on the pullys. Passanger Side Drivers Side -

Ok i will do that but again i ask. Even if the timeing belt was broken, it still should be getting fuel correct. Not that it matters much but timeing belts were replaced 15k ago. -

There are a couple of things that might of been a death blow to whatever is going on. Remember bad regulator in the alternator. I logged 120 miles to brents house going around 60-85mph. With no alternator regulation that might of sent enough power to whatever to damage it. Then a few weeks latter it just goes kapoot. -

Its true brent that after the MAF was cleaned i started having the no start problems. But ive delt with bad MAFs before on other cars and they would always start and run just really badly. As of right now from what i can tell the fuel pump isnt coming on and the ignition is getting no spark. When we put alittle fuel in the throttle body to see if it would just pop over nothing happened. Not only was the throttle body bone dry but the disty had no spark coming to it either. I would think this would lead to a central problem causeing both things not to function at once. What that is i have no idea. Not saying that the MAF might not be a problem as to why it wasnt running good but i dont think thats not what the problem is now. Heres what I know now. 1. Fuel Pump Relay does click when ignition is turned on. 2. Fuel Pump is not primeing the system or turning on to start the car. 3. Spark is not getting to the distributor. -

Its ok man, a better day for that is friday if you want. On fridays i get off at 330 in the afternoon so if you wanted to meet somewhere then that would be cool. Or you could come out here and help me sort out this pig. Hey do you have a computer also. Not looking to swipe it from you, just trying to deduct what could be wrong here. -

I dont know, the motor isnt turning over faster like the timeing belt is broke. Would a broken timeing belt cause it to not get fuel. -

Ok, i found out some very interesting things tonight and none of them are good. 1st off its not geting any gas. I tool the fuel pump relay off and looked it over. When i put the key to on position i could feel it click so i think thats good. I hooked the green connectors up and barely heard the fuel pump make a little noise but it was brief. 2nd its not getting any spark either. A friend of mine came over and we checked the car over. We put alittle gas into the throttle body to see if it would pop and it did nothing. So we pull off a plug wire to see if theres spark. Nada. So................................................ now what. Did i fry the computer. -

As of right now i have no mode of transportation. Subaru is down and the truck is out of gas. No money for either of those things right now so i cant get to your place mick. Let me know when you can show up, i dont have work until 3:00 but maybe i can talk my wife into you showing up here and swaping her the alternator for the box of rings.. I can install the alternator myself. On a side note guys ive been driveing it like this for quite some time. I never went super high in the rpms but at this point im not counting anything out. Though this winter i did blow both headlights out and blew the heater fuses which i fixed both of those things. -

What will it sound like, just a click or a humm. Went out and tried, i heard nothing. It will be obvious im sure. I should note that again the alternator regulator is bad so lots of unnecessary xtra current has been flowing through the wires. Could this of destroyed the relay or even the fuel pump.
